  1. OK, I missed that. I miss a lot, it seems.
  2. You're not wrong TG. For various reasons [usually political indecision], rightly or wrongly, we're going to be in France's pocket, power wise, in the not too distant future.
  3. Work it out, Sherlock.
  4. Lol, Enjoyed that little exchange. We didn't have a power cut.
  5. Give it time. Remember the 3 day week, a few Tory governments ago..?
  6. The way he just quickly checks his ankle and then continues on with his walk, makes me wonder whether this is an everyday occurance for the bloke.
  7. You tarnish us all when you come out with stuff like that.
  8. I believe they have cafes for dogs too. I was going to say... only in Japan, but I think they have them elsewhere in the world as well.
  9. That's OK, the spelling and grammar police made the arrest anyway. I've been waiting for this question to come up ever since Saturday afternoon, 1st half injury time. Will Brett Ormerod get another go in the Premiership..? It's unlikely. At 33, will he get another go in the Championship. It's more than likely. But will Saints have a look at him again..? Do they need to..? For me, Brett was never prolific enough as a striker at SFC. He ended up being a feeder striker for Beattie, and that couldn't last forever. We all know he worked very hard, and probably still does, knowing him. But so does Barnard, and he is prolific. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was chuffed to see Brett winning at Wembley. It was just like him also to be so thrilled with winning as to be totally gobsmacked when being interviewed on the pitch immediately afterwards. He kept saying... I don't know what to say... I don't know what to say... Then he looked over to his teammates and said... look, they're celebrating... can I go..? I don't want to miss it..! To which the interviewer urged... Go on... on you go..! It was a lovely moment.

  14. I know there are only a few of us that like exciting 2-wheeled racing, with plenty of overtaking. So this is a reminder to those coming on here this Sunday morning to switch the telly on as MotoGP coverage starts around 9.00am with the 125 race and young Bradley Smith and Danny Webb representing GB. Loads of action with the 125s. The new 4T 600cc Moto2 category [which replaced the old 2T 250s] is in its 3rd race, and daring to usurp the 800s for popularity. Every race has been either excellent or just brilliant. Brit Scott Redding goes in this one. With JT gone back to World Superbikes, there's no Brit in the main event. But Valentino is on pole and you can throw a hankerchief over the main rivals. Should be close. Don't think there's a pond at this track. 125 and 600s are on Freeview 301 and streaming on the BBC Sport website. MotoGP is on BBC2 and Freeview 301 afterwards.

  16. Nice rumour. It would be a great gesture from Markus Liebherr. If any club could afford it, Saints could, and it wouldn't necessarily backfire either, as it would inject new lifeblood into season ticket sales. When the ST price reverts to something more realistic, the following season, I'd expect lots of the newer ST holders would carry on too. However, despite the outlay, so far made by Markus, barely even scratching the surface of his personal wealth, great gesture or not, it is probably not the way to carry on. He's ultimately at St Marys to have a wonderful time, and make a bit of money into the bargain, long term.

  18. Nice one, ESB. Bally will indeed be pleased.
  19. Nice to see Blackpool promoted. Now they have a completely new chapter to write in their history books. Not since the 1970's have Blackpool been in with the elite. Off to General Sports. I'll leave a link.
