what happened to "Surman and Lallana off as soon as window opens"
JohnnyFartPants replied to Ken Tone's topic in The Saints
You don't have to be a Lowe supporter to opt to use your brain and just not swallow every little story that is made up about him, like some. Did you know that the Russians never did actually eat their babies in theend? It was just made up nonsense. -

Certainly spoke for me there to be honest, although I would have called him a co(klunch to be fair. -

Oh I see. You should have just said you were now climbing down from your initial gobbing off and were now prepared to play the splitting hairs game. -
There is a huge list of really funny ones floating about somewhere.

Is he spending the 5% on goose fat then?

I have been using my memory for a long time before the "search the forum" facility or indeed internet forum was available. As such I do not require the geekoid machine to do all for me. I also remember the links being made by some posters to Spurs etc and it being a done deal. If you struggle with the old grey matter then perhaps you should take his advise and do a quick search before gobbing off, while leaving those of us with a brain to simply remember stuff. -
This company probably doesn't even know the double meaning over here. http://www.pinklettuce.co.za/

is lowe waiting for the transfer window to close...
JohnnyFartPants replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
Part of me thinks that loaning out the players rather selling them was all part of the plan. If by January we are looking good without them, then sell them. If we are in the mire, bring some back. At least we have offloaded their wages since September. I would expect hardly any players to be sold in the January window, maybe a call back or two and perhaps a loan or free transfer. Come the end of the season, we will balance the books once more by selling a few and so it carries on. Next season will be another one where we start with a lot of youth, though this time around they will have played a season in the Championship. We just have to hope that they start there again next season. If they do, then Lowes first season back in charge has been a "success" as he will have lowered debt and securred our status. If we drop then he has failed. Simple as that really. -
Stoneham - What Actually Happened?

People could always compare different clubs and stadiums to others but for you to use Derby as an example is just too good not to reply to. At the end of the day I go to the stadium to watch football and not to shop, watch a film or stay in a hotel. Further to that, if I did wish to do any of those things I would much rather watch a match in St Marys type of stadium and then use the local shops, cinemas and hotels in the region - long established and in better areas than go to that souless dump in the middle of an Industrial Business Park that is Pride Park. The "add-ons" that have been built into the stadium plans take away from the stadium and the location of the whole place does so to a greater amount. I would be careful what you wish for, unless you are new wave chav culture, obviously. -
Only a rumour, but it would be nice...........

Bale must have a fair amount of contract left. Surely the deal has to suit him too? -
That was the other type I was trying to remeber. Do they guzzle as much power?

I was thinking of starting a tool hire business that also hired out generators. What about the really cool name of "Geni-Tools"?

So is Plasma the most up to date type of TV then? Is there an alternative around already that is as good?
-
Not being up on TV's, what is the most modern type at the moment? Is Plasma already old hat? Was it the Plasma ones that would burn logos into your screen in the top corners such as Sky One etc or even burn parts of stationary games into them?
-
I first saw it quite a few years ago, and since then have been looking out for it again. The other night it was on that lesser channel "Watch" so I recorded it on Sky+ and watched it the next day. I get what you mean about soldiers being buried miles away from home and that not quite being right, or rather I did until I visited my Granddads grave in Italy about 15 years ago. He was a young man of 23 and is buried next to his mates who he spent the last months of his life with. In some ways it would be wrong to split them up.

My gran refers to black people as sambos, which I think might not be allowed, unless of course one is called that name.
