Tonight. A few beers then an early night. Saturday. Drive to Peak District, cycle the Tissington Trail, check into a B&B and find a pub to watch England play football. Sunday. Bit of walking then drive back home.

I collected my two boys for the night, aged 5 and 7, took them and the girlfriend for a meal and then once they were in bed just sat and got steamed!! I woke up at 2.30am alone on the settee then went to bed.

Smoked bacon is the bacon of champions. Bought from a local butchers and freshly sliced before your eyes. Cooked in a frying pan that has been allowed to get really hot with no oil in. The bread should be fresh crusty white bread with real butter and brown sauce on the bacon.
