Don't give Lowe ideas!!
-
He merely enquired as to whether or not you had inner feelings of squiggly warmth for our goal keeper. I do not think calling him thick was at all warranted.
-
Not sure who it was, but it may have been Sundance or Alpine, but they became very touchy about this being bandied around as a laughable problem. Being depressed and mega happy, then depressed again is no laughing matter (unless you are on the happy bit, but believe me, it might not last, but on a positive side, it could come back, so don't do anything silly while depressed.)

21 shots on goal....more than the whole of last season?

I think I agree with you. If people feel justified to come on here and be "political" about their reasons for staying away then they put themselves up to be reminded of what they missed out on. Christ, if they can't take that on the nose then they must be a bunch of sensitive chaps. -
I think some people are staying away because of Lowe, but more than that are staying away because they are skint or have weighed up the options as to where they spend their money. As you said, a few wins and some will drift back again.

Let me get this right. You want Bakovenetski to put fake donkey ears on your son?
-
Well rather than give the answer "whatever" and then move into sulk mode, why don't you suggest a team that we could comfortably beat in this division that would be a good match to put on Sky. So far this year we have beaten a side currently second in the league and lost to a side two leagues below us. We have also only narrowly managed to beat a side by an own goal and a penalty that were in a league below us last year. What formula would you be using to work out a way that proves Sky "like" us, exactly, or are you just moaning like always?

I would like to dedicate a few column inches to Lucy Pinder, if that is ok.
-
Can he spell as well as you though? Actually, I seem to remember he can.
-
Based on their wardrobe? How many points do they get for a pinstripe suit?
-
To be honest, you have been saying how crap we are for ages, so by your reasoning most teams, if not all, could beat us, so who do you suggest we have a televised match against?
-
Get a song going all about "It It" the wonder kid?

I would like to see a "Where are They Now" feature, with ex Saints players through the years. Perhaps even a feature on ex Pompey players in various prisons too.

But enough about Scooby!

Good point. Oh, and good luck with the far more important issues arising in your life. Take care, matey!!

I think it is far too early days to decide whether or not JP will be a good or indeed bad choice for the football club. Equally, it is too early to tell if RL coming back will work out to the benefit or detriment of the club. What I do find pretty silly though, is the constant "Lord Lowe" and "Golden Duo" rubbish coming from a certain corner. It is one thing to have faith in an unproven system, and to be honest I haven't entirely given up on it working either, but to try to convince a whole bunch of supporters that it is working right now and how fantastic we are doing is pure folly. When I read those comments trying to inform me that we are doing really well and that I just cannot see it I immediately think just one thing..... "Knob cheese!"
-
Did JP say you were up for selection for the mid week game?
-
That really made me laugh. Brilliant.
-
There seems no point in really biting directly to his comments any more. Everything he writes seems to be about congratulating Lowe regardless of facts. If Lowe took a dump he would see it as positive for SFC.
-
I still do not understand the admiration for pearson. He tried hard and was good at looking passionate, but there is nothing to suggest he was going to be any better than he was at the end of last season, which really wasn't very good at all.
-
Made me laugh.

Fergie didn't stand up to Ronaldo, the money men in charge did. As for Beckham being chucked out, he wasn't wanted by Fergie but still left on his own terms for the team he decided to play for and started his "Brand Beckham" multi million pound industry. Well done Fergie, that showed him!!

Poll : Adam Hammill Or Bradley Wright Philips On The Wing

Kevin Keegan with a sore toe or Gazza with a hangover? -
I suppose he is just acting in exactly the same way any of us would if we were skint and hanging on to our houses. If and when he lets go it will be the very last thing he does and not before he exhausts all avenues. If you missed a payment on your mortgage you wouldn't just hand your keys over to the building society. The thing none of us really know is just how far from having to do that, he really is.
-
I think we benefit because not only are we not paying his wages but that he is in the shop window and if he plays for a new contract the team he is loaned out to or indeed another may bid for him. Sitting in our reserves will not get that happening!!
