  1. He actually started 35 Lg games and 2 in the FA cup and scored 12 goals which puts a different perspective on things especially as he was in a struggling team and playing out wide for a lot of the time. Danny Graham took the penalties too.
  2. So is Sam going to be replaced? The million dollar question. We have three forwards, one injury prone, one newish to the Premiership and Shane Long who I like but is not a goalscorer. Is that enough for a tough season in the Premier League? Playing one upfront the answer could be yes but everytime Gabbiadini gets crunched we will all be wincing
  3. This
  4. Couldn't have put that better myself
  5. If only it was that easy
  6. Has anyone read what is written on them?
  7. Peach and Ball
  8. The last time Saints finished a game with 2 successful penalty takers on the pitch was 1979 at home to Spurs when first .......... and then .............. scored from the spot in a 3-3 draw. Fill in the gaps without looking it up.
  9. Smart arse alert.
  10. Really? You happy with that performance?
  11. If I was selling my house and I got a good offer I am not too sure I would be over diligent in examining where my buyer's funds came from. Can't blame Ms Liebherr I would do the same if the money was right. However selling the deal to the fans the way RK did a few days ago was a tad duplicitous. Personally I would have preferred to stay where we were but that was no longer an option it seems.
  12. It was a good marriage for both parties
  13. Easily pleased
  14. It's a big secret
  15. Yes very much this but I have got to add Stephens at times today reminded me of Beckenbauer in his pomp.
  16. Just hope a few of the demented delusionals down the road read this
  17. That's actually quite good
  18. Made me laugh then wince
  19. Get rid - we don't need players like this
  20. Ryan Seagar signs a new 2 year deal and then joins MK Dons on loan for this season
  21. V popular with the players plus his knowledge of British football are two good reasons to keep him.
  22. I don't know how many STs we have sold this summer but even Rupert Lowe said if it approached 22,000 we should expand - here is his statement lifted from a programme in 2002 “One of the regular questions we get asked is whether we could expand the capacity at St Mary’s and if so how. Our stadium has been designed and built with the capability of being expanded to seat more people. Such a route would mean lifting the roof to install an additional tier of seating around the top. From an engineering point of view, we know it to be feasible, however, I should leave you with the thought that we are only in the second season in our new home and therefore have no plans at present for expansion. If season ticket numbers rise towards 22,000 and we are selling out, a review of this position will be necessary”
