  1. Both RK and MP are fine managers but if I had to chose I would go for Pochettino
  2. Can't blame Yoshida - he does his best, the question should be asked why RK persists in picking him out of position ahead of Soares and Martina
  3. Don't be daft! For a minute there I thought you might actually get through a post without resorting to unpleasant jibes but alas I was to be disappointed. FWIW I haven't really been following the Poch/Koeman debate but was merely pointing out that Pochetino did seem to have faith in Sam Gallagher and was prepared to use him, even if it was mainly from the bench. I gather the view of several of the U21s currently at SMS is that they were more likely to get a chance under MP than they are under RK. Personally I think MP was more inclined to risk using the youth but I accept that could be because the youth he had available to him was of a higher quality. It's a debate nothing less nothing more so there really is no need to get personal every time you reply surely?
  4. CB Fry can't argue or even debate, he can only sneer. The bravest man the biggest cyber warrior on this forum don't you know
  5. He gave Sam Gallagher 18 Prem apps
  6. Koeman himself in an interview recently mentioned the fact that Tadic lost form when the winter arrived last year - from that I deduced he is not the sort of bloke who rolls his sleeves up when things get tough. You obviously like him, so we will have to differ but I remain very unconvinced. Like I say on form, on song a bloody good player but he is just too hit and miss for me.
  7. Stats only tell half the story - I will stick by my views although I take on board the fact that decent creative midfield players don't grow on trees. Tadic has the hard bit ie the skill but he goes missing too often and the cold weather hasn't really kicked in yet.
  8. He's the best we've got at the club in terms of creativity (so no to your question), but in my opinion we should be able to attract a player who has his creativity plus a bit of steel and consistency, two qualities the not so cheap, Tadic lacks.
  9. I know I bang on about Tadic but week in week out his deficiencies are costing us points. With him it's one good thing followed by two bad and yet fans turn a blind eye to the latter fault
  10. I want to like him because he is our only genuine creative player but his inconsistency and his tendency to go missing is what gives us this vulnerability. To answer your question, there is no one else and that is our glaring weakness at present.
  11. Saints are showing worrying signs of having a weak underbelly and a lot of that is because Tadic often goes missing. He is our most creative player but not sure he is strong enough mentally for the Premiership
  12. Pleased to see that this Forum is being respectful to a guy who had strong opinions, not always popular, but he was undoubtedly a 100% Saint. Many on here ridiculed him as SISA's Chairman, many on here hated the fact that he had a voice that was louder than theirs. But the reason he had that voice was because he wasn't afraid of putting his name out there, unlike many on here who hide and snipe behind that cloak of anonymity. You were a great Saints fan, Mike....... and that is all that matters.
  13. Unless both clubs mutually agree
  14. I agree there is no point him being there and not getting game time
  15. He played for England U20s yesterday in France. There is a call back option in January
  16. tease
  17. s Predictable shoot the messenger response, Crook is closer to Saints than most!
  18. Who's money is he going to use I wonder?
  19. So why play Mane out wide where he is less effective?
  20. Already one of the greatest threads of all time - should be a sticky
  21. He was injured when the photo was taken - hamstring
  22. Surely "You're so Vain"?
  23. Yes and that is what I believed at that time, but I had not made allowances for the fact that Ms Liebherr was not in tune with what Cortese had been doing....in fact she strongly disagreed with it and since that February has taken big steps to rectify a lot of things I was protesting about. Unlike you Turkish I remain flexible in my opinions and I try to comment on what I see at the time. Things move on thankfully and I'm delighted that since my post the club have completely turned things around and DO care about the fans. If you stopped trying to be a smart arse in catching posters out your views would be taken much more seriously - you have a lot to say and can be funny but this sort of nit picking is tedious.
