Ha ha, not quite! It is very good. Takes a bit of getting used to after playing COD4 and 5 so much since I last played RFOM. The online stuff is mental with the sheer number of players that can be on the map at any one time. Some of the visuals are just awesome, especially when you see the invasion of San Francisco.

Picked it up from PC World today for £33. Just about to start it now so I'll let you know what it's like.

At St Mary's we don't have any of the community facilities we would have had at Stoneham. No athletics track and grandstand, no community pitches, no five-a-side pitches, no tennis courts. Nada. Nothing. All we have is the stadium (which itself had to be upped in size to make it viable as a standalone option). The extra commercial aspects of the were going to fund the extras which we don't have now. And as far as I recall, Southampton City Council came to the club with the St Mary's site, rather than the other way around.

Don't you hate people who ask for opinions but don't leave their own? Eh, Minty? ;-)

Is it wireless or wired?
-
Can't argue with that, IMO.
-
If staff are leaving whilst under contract I'd be worried if we weren't trying to get compensation fees for them.
-
I've got no problem with it, provided the amount of council tax that is currently allocated for rubbish collection and disposal is instantly cut off the annual community charge bill.

Ha ha! Storrie well if Storrie says it, it must be nailed on! In all honesty I couldn't careless if you got the new stadium or not - it's just that I find all the plans highly unlikely, and having used to work and live in Portsmouth I find the saga quite interesting. I assume you're confident this time? What about last time, or the one before that?
-
I can't see how the council could enforce that, although perhaps they can. If I was a Pompey fan though, I'd be a bit worried as all this new super-stadium malarky just seems like a bit of a smokescreen to me, and always has done. When they first announced the plans for The Hard I said that'd they'd end up building flats all around Fratton but still never get the new stadium. Today that looks even nearer the truth than I imagined at the time.
-
Good call. For £12 you can't go wrong.
-
Who wants to take bets on how much of it actually gets done? I reckon they'll build the shops and flats around Fratton, so Sacha or whatever his name is gets the cash for all that and doesn't have to spend anything (or rather, be turned down when asking for a new loan from Daddy) for the new ground.

Resistance: Fall of Man is a good title and is in the Platinum range now too, so must be around the £20 mark. The second one comes out next week (or maybe this one).

Pretty much. Some games obviously look slightly better on one console, but to be honest you'd be hard pushed to notice any real difference.

?? Did you read the post?

The Reading forum where he came from has been a great read today! http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/index.php

Well all those Saints thread could prove to be a little bit embarrassing now.

A mate of mine spoke to Mark Wotte this morning who said what the line-up would be and it was our normal formation.

What do other countries have to do with it? This is a UK based website, accessed by people in the UK, focusing on UK based events and people, ergo UK law applies. I don't like that the guilt is assumed in libel cases, but that's the law of the land, so we have to deal with it. You can moan and squirm about it all you want. Until the statute is changed however, you can't just ignore it. I could tell you of hundreds of libel cases that have gone to court if I had a copy of McNaes to hand. However, I'll assume you are referring to football-based internet forums (drastically narrowing the field). Seeing as they have only really been in use for 10-to-15 years, the lack of actions is hardly surprising. You're right when you say a club would be foolhardy in PR terms to take fans to court over a defamation of a staff member. Does that mean they wouldn't do it? Who knows. I'd rather not be the guinea pig for that experiment. Personally I think most of the stuff said on here about isn't enough to worry about in terms of libel laws. All I did was point out that the same law covering newspapers applies to any published statement. Am I wrong? You seem to be trying to insinuate that I am. The size of the risk of any possible action is up to the individual to decide, but as I pointed out, just because it doesn't end up in court, does not make a libellous comment less defamatory - it just means it's gone unnoticed or the defamed doesn't think it's worth it.
-
Just because something doesn't get to court doesn't make it any less illegal. It just means you have more chance of getting away with it. Or is there some new law that says otherwise?
-
Libel law is equally as applicable here as it is in a newspaper, regardless of whether or not you put your name to it.

Why do they hate us so much? It's like they want us to think of them as rivals or something.

While I'm not doubting the very real possibility that Lallana will be off in January, this just seems like a very odd time for a deal to be done and dusted.
-
I completed it last night. Bit disappointed with how short the game is, but I thought the last mission was awesome.
