I merely assumed that if there was considerable contact between the players, then he didn't actually need to fall over in order to be given a penalty. Edit: of course we can easily agree that the fall was a dive in order to pressure the ref into making a choice. But I'm assuming that there was a penalty there anyway and that the dive is inconsequential...

Slowly getting back in the game. I keep forgetting that the players, unlike most of us, have not given up beforehand, so I am pleasantly surprised that they keep battling out there!

Yup. A clear foul that did not cause Dzeko to fall, so he went down to make sure the penalty was given. Not nice to see, but to me it doesn't change the fact that Fonte made an illegal challenge in the penalty area.

Is building a whole argument against our transfer strategy on a gloomy prematch predicition really that serious? Just found it myself now in their FAQ: "Is Match of the Day available on the BBC iPlayer? Yes. From the start of the 2013-14 season, both Match of the Day and Match of the Day 2 will be available for live streaming on the BBC iPlayer. Under the terms of our contract with the Premier League, both shows will be made available from midnight on Monday (early hours of Tuesday morning)." So I just need a little more patience...

Perhaps not the most apt thread, but I'll ask in here anyway: how does MOTD, MOTD 2 and Football League Show work on BBC iPlayer? I go to "Sports" --> "Football" but I rarely find all the shows. Right now I can find The Football League Show from 23/3 and MOTD 2 Extra from 23/3. I can't find neither MOTD nor MOTD 2 from the weekend - including our game. Is it supposed to be there or how does it work?

Like Knight and Holt, I'm not sure that Cattermole would add much to our team. He is a competitive and industrious player, yes, but he wouldn't suit our style very well. All IMHO of course - I may be wrong!

Tbh, I don't think Grant Holt and Zac Knight would offer us much.
