Allegedly, he has been telling people that his new club has a bigger warchest, and that he faked all his goal celebrations for us...
-
Maybe I do not remember correctly, but didn't Guan 2.0 indirectly quote option c) as the reason why he was allowed to pass info about Lallana on to this board? And boy did it work - by the time Lallana left, he wasn't so popular any more. Guerilla warfare by SFC

Random Ex- Academy Player Transfer News no-one will care about...

As you have found out, that makes two of us... -
Picture #82 - Wanyama admiring RoKo's belly. #84 - admiration of something entirely different?

I absolutely agree with you. People (myself included) were laughing at Sunderland for their bitter, bitter Colback press release. While SFC's is much more cool to the point of being indifferent, I'd say they should stay well clear of unprofessional press releases and conduct themselves to the public as a serious and professional club. Those little digs are simply not worth it, no matter what a player may or may not have done. So no defense of Lallana, just an appeal for the club to play the PR game with great care...

Appalling show of commitment from our players

My comment still stands: you chose to believe in rumours from the press and turn against the players. The rumours turned out to be true, yes, but that's beside the point... -
It's like your wife leaving you for another guy and only then your realise: "hey, I was married to Adam Lallana!"

I was scrolling for that exact picture. Where is it?!

Too much for the main board?

Good shout. He plays for Hoffenheim in Germany and played a blinder against Portugal.

That precious moment when Ohio Saint truly understood the hype of Koeman
-
I think Koeman will give him another chance, but this time Fonte can bring a friend...
-
I agree. But without knowing any details, people still jump the gun and mock him for talking funny and being a "non-football person" (*sigh*) and conclude that he is doing a poor job. What is the criticism even based on? A few public interviews that people didn't appreciate? For all we know, he could be doing a stellar job behind the scenes e.g. in the commercial department... Give the guy a break and let him settle into a new role.

Valencia seems to be the odd one out in an otherwise fine CV, so I have faith in Koeman. I'm just surprised how strongly Valencia fans are still reacting to news about Koeman years later. They really don't like him

I had prepared for this day for months. I had been honing my typing skills, finally learned to drink coffee, gone through so many different permutations of that fixture list. And then the hour came - finally, I was able to fulfill the task I was born to do. The fixtures came in hard and quick and I was overawed, so I hesitated that moment too long; when I recovered, the lightning swift Tractor_Saint had plowed through the league fixtures like Avram plowed through Horton's Heath, like Oscar the Ninja Gobern plowed through that Bournemouth player, like Pompey plowed through the leagues towards the conference. In other words, he was bl**dy quick and efficient! I managed to sneak in four friendlies before the dust settled to regain a little honour. But next season, oh next season I will be ready. I only wish this season was over already...

I read it as an admission that results speak louder than plans. She may be in for the long haul and have an ambitious plan for the club, but supporters will probably judge her on immediate results - simplified by how many goals the striker scores. Given that we have no direct quotes from KL the above interpretation is quite unlikely to be accurate
-
The Valencia fans consider him the worst manager and person EVER. He ditched Canizares, Albelda and Angulo who were all heroes at the Mestalla. So yes, I should think he has heard and read some proper nasty things in his career
-
Thanks for taking the time. Makes for some interesting reading whether it turns out to be accurate or not!

Koeman and co. visit new Staplewood training complex - (52 photos)

That sounds rather encouraging - if it was nothing special they could have just kept quiet. Good stuff, SFC! -
Very good to see his progress. It will be interesting to follow him the coming season!
