Ronald Koeman on Artur Boruc's future at Saints
Lazlo78 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I think a lot of the fans are quite fond of Boruc, and personally I don't begrudge him his wish to move to another club. He should shut down his Instagram though -
Ahhh, you missed what was right in front of you. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?51470-Liverpool-post-match-chat-amp-MotM&p=2031412#post2031412 He is a Pirlo imitator! Not a very good one, mind you...

Artur Boruc is starring in:

My apologies, irene - it's just my warped sense of humour! I have absolutely no problems with you taking Artur's corner, I'm just here for the laughs... I hope you'll take one more look at the poster, and maybe just chuckle a little at the thought of Artur actually posting that monstrosity to his Instagram

I think his instagrams are getting a bit out of hand... and perhaps a tad too personal?
-
It'll be like watching your ex finally getting her breakthrough in porn a few weeks after she dumped you. I think we all know that feeling...
-
just had to be Pirlo, didn't it - Gypsy Gerrard and all that...

This would be a logical assumption, but our good friend Ben Smith tells us that the direct opposite happened! http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/28593032 "Perhaps most worrying of all, is the fear the discontent might spread to the club's highly regarded academy. The parents of one 15-year-old player have already decided they no longer want their son to stay on at the club amid the uncertainty. The question now is where will it all end? When will it all stop?" Well, Ben, you tell us...

Celtic take those that the PL clubs won't take a chance on, and once they've proven they can cope, we come in...

Why are all threads about Calum Chambers all of a sudden?!
-
It wouldn't be difficult to see e.g. Bertrand and Clyne as WBs in a 3-5-2 with Long and Pellè playing together. Not enough quality CBs perhaps, but we have the players to shuffle things around a bit!

Yo Whatever happened ta Bearsy's prematch reports? ah really enjoyed those otay buh-weet!
-
I like your thinking! We can always send Pellé to yoga classes if his performances become too disappointing...
-
Did you also find that watching Pellè was like discovering that the lookalike of your ex, you hooked up with after being dumped, is much less flexible than your ex? I know we can keep this going if we make an effort!

Ha haaaa, it took 98 posts for this analogy to crop up On that note I'd like to say that seeing Chambers in the Community Shield was like seeing your ex in action with 21 guys thinking "She made it" *sniff*

In the very last seconds (2:22ish) - does he mishear "The Koeman Era" for "The Koeman Hero"? - "Are you happy with how the Koeman Era has started?" - "Ha ha, the Koeman hero is maybe for playing, but I prefer to have three points"

Thanks for the report. I only managed some glimpses from a VERY dodgy stream (died just as Tadic played in Clyne ) so one question for you: the preseason looked like a 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 with one deep midfielder yet I've seen reports that claim we played 4-2-3-1 today with Morgan and Vic playing deep. I'm not about to trawl through the match thread to find comments so maybe you can enlighten me a bit with your view from the stands? Thanks!

This quote has probably been discussed elsewhere on here, but I've only seen it now. That seems pretty conclusive to me I wonder if Alan Irvine could have changed Morgan's mind or if it took a more reputable manager like Koeman... oh well, never mind, we seem to be back to a very, very good midfield with plenty of options and depth. Hooray!
