Stop that, please. You know how important it is to these people to be best, first, biggest etc. at everything - now they are first at putting e-mail addresses on a website...

I already booked my ticket for the end of season boat cruise next weekend. Lucky to get a boat with such short notice after our season ended so abruptly at the Stadium of Light... We should also close down this match thread seeing as there won't be a game against West Ham... Now we wait for the transfer window to open!

Are you going to make this topic reoccur on a monthly basis? http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?48410-Favourite-Jos-Hooiveld-Moment#.UwAab2J5M_A

I feel such ambivalence;.on one hand the latest few news items underline with much emphasis why we are not in the same league, domain, or culture as them. Their tinpotness must be understood in relation to other L2 clubs as it is simply too mind blowing to compare them with our utterly professional club. On the other hand, who would walk away from so much coffee on so many keyboards and lols enough to keep us going to their next admin and beyond. As for the pizza gags, I heard they will be making a special Quattro Adminstrazione pizza to commemorate their latest collection of administrative efforts...

O... M... F... G... It's so bad that it's almost good. No, actually it's just bad... Thank you, Steve Wilson, for making it so entertaining to be a nutjob

If you thought the Southampton tower climb was good...

For some reason I find this worse than the russian guys - even though these are professionals using lines... -
A real kick in the goolies for us

Very well. Quite an enjoyable game with lots of positives. I don't quite understand the levels of negativity towards our players in this match thread...

I played three times a week, saw plenty of ice buckets, but I had no pals...

This thread has surprised me positively - I really thought the majority of posters had given up on Gaston, but it seems there are a lot of people who still support him and hope for/expect him to come good. I wouldn't even say that he needs to become a star in the team rightaway, if he could only start putting pressure on Lallana, Jay Rod, Davis etc. and add another tactical dimension...

Best post of the day - DG called it perfectly: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?48878-Fulham-vs-Saints-MATCH-THREAD&p=1874070#post1874070

You already summed it up nicely, so I'll just quote it as a +1

Danish referee "service" on twitter gave it as pen/red card against Rose. Reason was that he took out Dzeko after touching the ball - and that is taking away a scoring opportunity as his touch didn't take the ball away from Dzeko... makes perfect sense to me...
-
So Danny Rose got a red last night for taking out Dzeko after touching the ball. I think it was the right decision from the ref, because Rose took away a scoring chance as his touch didn't clear the ball. But it just underlines how lucky Brown was to escape punishment from a quite similar incident... Edit: I see it's got a thread of its own: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?48834-Rose-red-card#.UuoTWT15OQA

I agree with this even though it will make me look like a hypocrite - my surname joke taken into consideration...

That's odd, Bearsy. I hope you'll recover soon! In the meantime, you should be able to get some fun out of, say, this: http://translate.google.com/#de/en/liebe%20herren Don't disappoint me on this one!

From the way he avoids Boruc's surprise assault, you can tell Yoshida is used to being around ninjas back in Japan...

Neither. It's Katharina I'm assuming the 'th' diagraph is just a 't' in German, so it's probably pronounced "Kattarina"... Edit: added 'pronounced'...

That was very bad defending from JRod against Sagna - but great to see him take revenge on Sagna for Lallana's equaliser
-
Suprisingly enough it was Lovren playing Borini onside for their 1st goal!

That was an effin great match to watch!!! Looked like we were cruising at half time (remember Sunderland?) but switched off after the break. Really great to see a quick response when most fans expected us to crumble under pressure. Not too bothered about the result, but maybe that's because we're in no man's land in the league table... Obviously a key point about taking our chances and making our dominance count, but on the plus side we earned this point without Lovren/Wanyama/Lambert, and with Gallagher leading the line. Oh and that boy, Lallana? He's really buzzing at the moment... This match opened up new perspectives with regards to our squad; Chambers/Clyne will be an interesting battle to follow, Cork/Wanyama likewise, Gallagher to put pressure on Lambert, Ward-Prowse to get back on track and push for a place in the side, Yoshida and Fonte doing a job without Lovren (even though Dejan was missed )... The only spots where we're well and truly f*cked if we get any injuries seems to be LB and GK...
