I’ve been given a quote for some replacement windows , the quote was extremely competitive , this is were the alarm bells started ringing , the firm wanted 50% deposit but wouldn’t take credit card payments , so I had no consumer protection if things went wrong , so with my suspicions raised I did a little digging and found this does this mean the owner is bankrupt or the firm is ? His quote had a vat number which was a live one I think . Thoughts please
