Friend of mine is coming in to town to get her hair done and meet me for a drink but isn't going to the match, and she has a _very_ good seat.. My own optimistic nature doesn't extend to hoping for a win or a draw tonight..

Doesn't Chatgtp use parameters set by the user? You should tell your son that getting bored and using shrooms is no way to improve his grades. Plus his professors might suspect something..

Yeah , see you in carriage number 1.. Or I might get some excitement into my life by going early by car and fitting in an IKEA visit: I need some more ziplock bags..

I still have some sympathy. You're assuming the alternatives are any good and _do_ want to be here. He's probably been shocked with the lack of fitness and motivation. The reason Downes hasn't been playing isn't I think due to him not trying but Downes not trying.. That might also apply to some other players. The only thing I'd say is that man-marking wasn't working. When you get the abject marking of ABK against the Wolves CF that really isn't down to the manager but a player who has far too high an opinion of himself and isn't as good as he thinks he is.

You missed my point and I apologise for not making it explicit. I am a Saints fan, ergo I have long known about Adam's inability to hit a barndoor with a banjo. My highlighting the comment was that it was amusing that others are now making the same observation of something we have long known..

Of course not, what a strange conclusion to come to. I'm a Saints fan. But others are now realising..

Bloomin' 'eck, I've just seen a picture of the man himself in the latest training gallery on the OS. He was, gulp, stretching for a ball..
-
Bit of an assumption that, Trousers? You're assuming that the advice he gave was accepted by the club..
-
Far too healthy a stool for Saints; far more likely to be a big brown pond of diarhoea or a little black constipated nugget..

Just reading an article about Scotland after their defeat to Greece.. This caught my eye:
-
Do they have a third division?

His touch is good, his balance better, his fitness is what you'd expect of a lanky 18 year old who probably hasn't reached physical maturity and his decision making is probably his weakest aspect but again I'd point you to his lack of experience. Other teams already recognise his potential by trying to stifle it by quickly closing him down. There'll be competition for his signing.
-
He almost certainly will move on but can you imagine him in an environment surrounded by brash Scouse or Newcastle fans or even most Londoners. Perhaps whoever suggested Gemany could be right?
-
Yes, I think this is relevant. He obviously makes some wrong and seemingly selfish decisions but at least he's trying to make something happen alongside some rather inadequate teammates. In other better teams he'd be getting more rest too. Still, an assist for TP to add to his stats. He looked better coming in from the wing in the final third: earlier he was being double and triple marked but couldn't take advantage of the space that made. Let's face it; it's only him and Fernandez who lift the crowd, along with Sulemanna before he loses it!

I see Dom Ballard scored for Cambridge after 3 minutes tonight although they still lost. Good to see him starting as he definitely needs the minutes.

They should invent something that tells you where other ships are: they could call it Radar. More importantly they could make sure that it's used!

"Raising issues." That he thinks might stir a bit of anger and dislike and support for himself. Whilst not confronting bigger issues in this country like inequality, the redressing of which might cost him..
-
I should have gone to the shareholders' meeting but wasn't in the country. I never expected to make money on that particular shareholding but a shame to lose it nonetheless. He is a massive right wing prat though.

Thought Smallbone started sluggishly but can't argue with that run into space: the sort of thing we saw a fair bit of in the Championship. Cool finish too. I still expect us to lose but this is a heartening performance.

Last night in a local pub I was on my own in watching the football so was muttering to no one in particular, myself really, about the line-up. "Downes and Smallbone in midfield, aargh. No decent striker, oh gawd" - you get the drift. I know Juric gets criticism for his line-ups but when you look around at the squad you can see the difficulties he has.
-
I've just had a daily poll come up on my Alexa; yep, you've guessed it. "Who will win..."
-
Just arrived here from reading that. An interesting read..

One of my local pubs has TNT so I may be lucky, there might be another game they're showing. Or I might get injured at training earlier.. For the sake of all the masochist away supporters I hope we get something out of it. Or maybe not, I suppose, if they really are that way inclined.

In pub chatting to Brighton fans, they're so much nicer than Leeds or Chelsea or West Ham supporters..

Sod it! Standing room only and not much of that!
