watched Flavia the Heretic recently, as part of my Nunsploitation-athon. Actually quite a lot better than i thought it would be, some cracking cinematography and an excellent soundtrack bring it above the usual 70s Euro exploitation fare. The best bit was when a woman climbed inside a cow's carcass, or the horse being castrated.

i am yet to get round to seeing this, but love anything ianucci touches.

i went to see one of the special previews yesterday at the odeon. the 3-d works very well, but the story and cgi design just looks so generic, although it is hard to really judge the story off the back of a 20 minute preview.

tis a shame, he was quite the recluse though in recent years.

as a fan of the book, i honestly thought that the film complety missed the point. taken on its own though, it is a watchable film.
