I also watched the above film recently. the main actor was my girlfriends lecturer at Solent Uni, and a mate of mine gets killed at the end. i wouldve been killed in the same scene too, but couldnt get out of proir engagements. some great gore if you like that kind of thing, some debatable dialogue and acting though. predictable story too, but it is worth a watch, if only to play spot the location.

I have never heard of this film, but having looked it up, it also seems it frequently pays homage to Bresson's Pickpocket, which is one of my favouritist films ever ever. Def one for me to check out I finks.

Apparently its also going to star De Niro again.

I like everyone that posted on this thread, especially CanadaSaint. No one had ever quoted me before, and he was my first. CanadaSaint, if you're reading this, I made a rather good post in "The Arts" section a few months ago if you'd like to quote that too.

My post was clearly not "anti-American", but (tail between the legs time) I may have deserved it for posting the least witty and humourour remark ever seen on these boards. For what its worth, I do agree with you to an extent. We do seem to look fragile towards the end of a game, but Pardew has clearly noticed this and tried to improve the squad accordingly. Today's game was a one off though, and we wont come up against a team that has that much pace every week, similary we wont be pushing up so much for a winner each week, nor will we face a keeper like David James every week. We appreciate that your emotions are all over the place, but theres really no need to be so upset by this result.
