  1. yes. can't get it to work at all. ffs.
  2. This (tying our core team to longer contracts) is what financial security really means, not spunking huge amounts on massive wages or panic buys. I love this club.
  3. Great news, everyone we want is here for the long haul...
  4. ...get your fathers gun, and shoot the Pompey scum...
  5. I listen to the saints player feed of Solent, but like to have the match thread open, it's nice to feel part of the excitement with other saints fans. I don't see why the match thread can't be full members only, or the whole forum be full members only during the game. Saintsweb would probably get a few more fivers that way, too.
  6. Definitely, was just thinking that. I'm sure it is really ****ing off Brighton that we are above them too!
  7. great win!! I had to miss the game, due to running a 5k race. Sounds like listening to the game would've been more exhausting though! Top of the league!
  8. Golden thread in the making here. First time I've nearly cried laughing reading a thread on here. It's more funny the more tenuous they get. Thanks to everyone who has contributed from their surreal, warped minds. Personal favourite so far has to be lawrie mcanenome. Closely followed by David mcgoldfish and Neil sheeperley. Genius.
  9. Quick. Change the locks. Turn out the lights. Everybody QUIET!
  10. Get a ****ing life. Tw a t.
  11. Le Tissier will be a legend for as long as this football club exists. His popularity didn't really take a hit after the Pinnacle debacle, as we were rescued straight afterwards by Markus and co. At the worst he came off as naive or misinformed, but as a former player I don't think anyone can or will ever touch him. Le God.
  12. Punchon maybe. Puncheon no way in hell.
  13. Whilst beating off furiously looking at the relegation zone, no doubt.
  14. the sky live table had us that way for whatever reason, but it doesn't really matter. 3 points is all we should care about at any point this season...
  15. Full Table. Is that pompey, way down there somewhere? I can't see that far away...
  16. We looked good, Chaplow and De Ridder looked good when the came on, I'm excited for this season! Can you imagine if we get more than our usual 3 points out of the first 5 games?
  17. COYR!! Nearly started the season top of the table!
  18. That goal put us second in the table instead of first... poop. Great win today though, we looked great!!! COYR!
  19. Come on!!! 3-0! F u cking stuttering stream made me miss the goal though, thats only 1 out of 3 i actually got to see....
  20. get in there!!!!!!
  21. COYR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Football is back and all is right with the world....
  22. The Mac operating system is miles better, cleaner and more intuitive than windows for a start. And I don't think you can downplay how much of a bonus good design is - my iMac has no tower, it takes up as much space as a monitor would, and is (in my humble geeky opinion) ******* gorgeous. Clean lines and high grade materials, nothing distracting from the screen. (which display photographs beautifully) Most popular software is available for Mac, I use all the adobe creative suite programmes. There is a lot of cool custom designed software available to download through their Mac app store now, ranging from games for 99 cents to full on graphics stuff for hundreds of dollars. The operating system includes a feature called boot camp, which let's you run windows software too, if you have a copy of windows to install on your Mac. Best decision I ever made.
  23. That's just like, your opinion man. I've lived in the states for almost 8 years and I have picked up a lot of American words, phrases and inflections. I can't help it, I've seen other ex-pats and all have varying degrees of how much they adopt. I worked with one cockney who had been here for 30 years and he sounded more cockney now than when he left! I have no idea how he managed that. I have noticed in the last few years that more of my friends back in the uk saying 'dude' and other americanisms, it definitely surprises me sometimes when I hear words I'm only used to Americans saying.
  24. Nicely said. 'proof if proof were needed' that the op may be at the very least an idiot, if not a retard. (don't have the proof for that)
  25. 'groove related damage' - classic. I was the same, ****ty buggy pc after ****ty buggy pc, then I finally stumped up the big bucks for an iMac. No comparison. I'm a photographer, and my workflow has improved amazingly. Everything does 'just work' and work damn well. Oh, and its a beautiful chunk of machined aluminium and glass rather than a plastic Dell box, so that's nice...
