  1. Think we are drawing this one. Damp squib.
  2. Last time he took aribo off without warranting it it didn’t end well... and so it did again. Manager never, ever learns.
  3. I just won at the bookies on the National and put a quid on Watford. Hopefully the second bet won’t come in... and there it is. FFS. Useless fuckers. Just so sick of this useless, moronic style of football where we just pass it around slowly, aimlessly, in the hipster/disrupter belief (oh, we're so clever) that we are reinventing football. We are so easy to beat and I just want Martin gone, with his ridiculous sub choices and youth ignoring with him. He can take Baz too, who is the most invisible goalkeeper I think I've ever seen. Don't give a toss whether he can pass it out from the back. Pathetic usless fucking bottlers.
  4. The team that cannot keep a clean sheet.
  5. We will please the manager by having excellent statistics and pass completion and Baz will get beaten in the middle of the goal by powder puff shots. Allied to Che being Che we will lose 2-0. Oh, and we will shoehorn Stephens into a position he clearly isn't right for and Smallbone will run from side to side slowly, looking at the action going on in front of him, occasionally putting out a leg.

    Gavin Bazunu

We've had a blind spot for keepers for so long it's not funny. I think Baz should have saved the first - shouldn't be beaten at his near post and 'ooh, he was expecting a cross' just doesn't wash. Slow dive and middle of the goal for the second. And glaciers move quicker for the third, after he moronically punted the ball straight to their keeper with 30 seconds to go, thereby giving them the chance to come forward and make me money at the bookies, sorry, score the most predictable soft goal with our onlooker defenders in history. Still fuming, and at our manager's inability to make key subs at key times, if only to waste time. And why take Aribo off? He was having an excellent game (ooh he was tired). The prospect of more of this lunatic naivety next season is not very enticing, still less with an inferior squad. Oh for old school tactics and a bit of pace. There's a reason everyone else does it
  7. What. A. Goal. thank the lord it wasn’t che at the end of that
  8. Che in the team means goals goals goals
  9. Downes back to West Ham because of Calvin’s shitness. Game over for us then. What will Russell’s hipster rotation crap be today then? I’m guessing Manning back in because he loves him. Hopefully Che out in favour of a footballer who can hit a barn door from five yards. Ho hum. Still, champ will be at least no VAR fun again next season. Any win at playoffs will be a bonus but feels like we’re way off from having either the goals or the defence. Has been like it most of the season. ps I know it’s April 1
  10. You’re right. Not appealing at all
  11. Playoffs confirmed. And no chance there.
  12. So predictable and Martin-Saintsy. Che Adams is an appalling footballer. Still, easy money at the bookies
  13. Bit harsh to get shot for it though
  14. Shockingly poor pen from Sterling. What an overrated player
  15. We’re going to see Vestergard looking very slow and Championship today. Crossing fingers for some injuries too. And confidence-draining thrashing by Chelsea
  16. Such a shit footballer. Root cause of all our shitness. And Russell loves him. Go figure. oh FFS. Useless fucking manager. All the wrong decisions. Just cannot defend. Pathetic.
  17. Such a shit footballer. Root cause of all our shitness. And Russell loves him. Go figure.
  18. Manning gets selected to try to play football again. Not sure how. idiotic selection again and fail to win today and the automatics have gone. Stupid not to go back to the defensive line up that worked. Prepare for playoffs.
  19. Will be surprised if we keep a clean sheet. This is key to us getting anywhere near automatics. Also to winning the play-offs, come to that. Playing like we did on Saturday is not sustainable. Great that we won but we're offering gilt-edged chances to the oppo every week. The manager can blame it on individual mistakes but it is a result of the super-risky tactics he employs. Preston will be no pushover but I hope we revert to the tightness we showed at the back as a foundation of our long run unbeaten. Which for me means no Manning anywhere near the line-up.
  20. Again. Why is Manning playing? He is hopeless at football. Which is key.
  21. Smallbone rewarded for his last two dogshit performances with another selection. I suppose his failings might be not quite so highlighted by Downes’ presence. Manning’s selection (they must have compromising photos, surely) another conundrum.
  22. Absolute shit
  23. Very little belief. They know we’ve got to win right? So lackadaisical. Not going for it at all. Slow, ponderous, just waiting for the second or content to lose by one. Not brave.
  24. What the actual fuck was that from Charles? And smallbone? Do we want to win or just pass it backwards all game and take the 1-0? Ffs

    Catching Ipswich

Had a crazy thought. We miss out on automatic by one place, ie come third. Everton get hit by more points deductions, as do Forest, and perhaps Chelsea, resulting in a shuffling of places beyond the season's end by an embarrassed FA. Resulting in the top two in the division - Leicester and Leeds, say, going up, along with the winners of the playoffs (Ipswich, say). But also, because of the madness and shifting around that is necessary, the third placed finishers (and not beaten finalists in the play-offs). Which might be us. Or Ipswich. Anyway, will go back to dreaming. Or lying down in a dark room. PS the stars might align for us to have either David Moyes after all if he decides to walk and/or Russell gets poached or we lose faith after not going up. Or Eddie Howe, come to that. Wouldn't be unhappy with either, and both linked before.
