Mystifying. Sub-standard player, bad role model, and now captain. WTF? Had my worries when I saw him in the kit leaks. If this is Still's decision it's the first bad one (of a few to come, I reckon)

I remember him from when he played for Everton and was one of the worst players I have seen in the Prem. Was better in the Champ and could probably do a job for us, but I suspect he'll show that Prem form again if he joins Leeds. If they're counting on him they could be in for a long season.

Will be amazed if he is here at the start of the season. Bournemouth? Hope we have our sights on a few to replace him late in the window (probably, knowing us)

Are we looking at goalkeepers? Feel this is a very key area, not least because Lumley has gone, Ramsdale will be off obviously and Bazunu and McCarthy are both shit. Or will our blindspot continue?

Well that is true. I suppose for me Arsenal aren't too bad (?) but Chelsea are pretty loathsome (and crooked), Liverpool over-sentimental divs who are up in arms when Real Madrid do what they did to us (broadly) over Van Dyke and countless others, and Man City just corrupt Lawyer-funders, fending off 100,000 court cases. Spurs are laughable and deluded, indignant about their supposed golden era that never was, and with only one song. Ours. So yes.

It’s not too late to get a manager with (check notes) experience of the Championship rather than yet another appointment that makes the appointees into some kind of genius if it comes off. Not that any of the ‘clever clever’ left field reinventing football ones have. Talking about a video on Monday Night Football isn’t enough for me.
