Best half of the season by miles. So nice to see pace and threat up front, not Armstrong. Dibling Fermandes and Aribo excellent. Great to watch. Whatever happens next, it feels like the manager is making his statement

Just been watching the build up with the players skulking around on the pitch in little groups and a few of them staring at their phones on their own, headphones on (tall Paul I’m looking at you). Terrible body language. Walker Peters sheepishly saying they were there to win, to camera, not wholly convincingly. I fear a drubbing. But at least we haven’t got to watch Armstrong running round aimlessly like a rabbit in a big field.

We look pretty good. Amazing how much impact Juric has made on the way we play in such a short space of time. Lively. A breath of fresh air.

Hugely improved intensity everywhere. Better directness. More cohesion and pace. Big unlucky with the goal. Shame about Suguwara’s ability and Armstrong continuing to be a total waste of space.
