I wonder if Hughes' widely publicised £2m bonus for keeping us up is actually not having the desired effect on our spoilt players? Wouldn't put it past some of this lot to not play out of spite. Perhaps a bonus for the players might be a good idea (too). At least that might motivate the mercenaries.

None whatsoever, but it's worth watching Hughes' press conference from yesterday, and then reading between the lines... Also, in the other place, someone said that Lemina said his hamstring hurt when Hughes asked him to get ready on Saturday, and Boufal refused to come on. If so, i for one would love to biff him on the nose

'Midfielder Lemina has been suffering with back and hamstring problems, while winger Boufal is ill.' They might just as well admit that both are sold and get on with it.

Perhaps they'll sack him and replace him with possibly the worst manager ever to grace the Premiership. Like we did.

This is very true. I was watching him intently, including body language at key moments. However, at final whistle a part of me suspected that his matey handshakes with the Chelsea players involved them saying 'see you next season', and would probably put a bet on him going there. Ah well, it will be more money for Gao's sell-off fund before he exits and puts the club up for sale.
