I think the players will go into that complacent mode that kicks in when we are expected to win (which also affects the fans) and it will kick us in the teeth again. Defensive frailties exposed. They'll roll their sleeves up and win the way we should but can't. 2-1 to them. Really hope I'm wrong.

It would have been much better if you had written Robertson, Pulis or Gasmi. That would have sounded more like an adult movie, methinks.

Personally, I wouldn't want any old takeover. I'd want a takeover from an individual or company with enough money to make a difference. Which in the current climate - vis a vis credit crunch or football world - is a heck of a lot. PS had horrible dream we'd enter a ground share with Pompey to ease each of our financial worries...

Presumably it was in part to lift his signing price with Ipswich, but since that has fallen through (possibly because) we can't afford to pay him the extra - ie the appearance money as stipulated in said new contract (or even the old one). Confused? I think we all are. He might not be brilliant or even a team player but right now we could do with the experience.

As usual we're not being told why he's not playing, which leads me to assume that we cannot afford his appearance money. Or he's sulking. Why anybody would think of playing Dyer or BWP is beyond me.

Fullback Lloyd James is doubtful - I agree.

Dyer is a very poor footballer that only Saints would pick, especially after his off the field antics, which reveal that he has as rubbish a character as he has heading/shooting/passing ability or positional sense. Personally I think that having him and BWP still in the squad is affecting team morale, and both do not appear to give a toss about the Saints. Pay him off and get rid. (I wish)
