  1. Won't happen, but I'd like to see: ------------Boruc Clyne--Fonte--Lovren--Shaw --Schneiderlin---Cork Osvaldo-----JWP-----Lallana ----------Lambert Davis, Chambers, Hooiveld, Wanyama, Davis, Ramirez, Rodriguez. We need to work hard in midfield, and keep the ball well. Cork and JWP do this well. Wanyama has been so sloppy the last 2, and we can't afford passengers.
  2. Funny how quickly people forget. Don't you remember the second half of last season when he was tearing it up and everyone was backing him to be a future England star? He's in poor form, but is relatively inexperienced at this level and he's a talented player with potential.
  3. Tell me you're taking the p*ss? We lost, how is it not a bad result? If we'd played anything like we know we can, we'd have beaten them. They're not a great side at all, we made it easy for them today
  4. Positives: Lovren. Solid at the back, only player who looked like he gave a f*ck. Alcohol - night ahead in Norwich to get over it. Staying with a Norwich fan though - not so good.
  5. Absolutely f*cking sh*t. Pass completion must have been about 60%. Woeful. My gripes: Wanyama - clumsy today and wasted possession, slows play down. Fox - just sh*t. Can't defend, just backs off until they're in our box. When attacking, all he can do is receive the ball, turn back towards goal and pass back inside to Lovren. Osvaldo - offered little Morgan - not his usual self Chambers - shown up today Lambert - not really his fault, but was dropping too deep/wide to try to get involved due to no service. Gaston - 1/10 today. Useless. JWP - poor delivery today. Poch - weird decisions. Cork should've been on for Wanyama, gets us moving properly. Lallana subbed when our most dangerous player. Fox played while Clyne & Shaw benched. Obviously didn't bollock them about out lack of tempo. Fans - mostly silent. Really poor atmosphere, no noise or banter from us today.

Absolutely f*cking woeful. Weak, no interest, no bottle, lightweight, tries the miracle ball every time. Not good enough.
  7. Sorry for clogging up the forum - in Norwich and 1 ticket short. Email me on jharris9587@gmail.com if there's one going spare.
  8. If it's pubs/bars you're after, the 'Golden Triange' is good. Plenty of nice pubs and unlikely to see any aggro round there. We'll probably drink there then go to Karma later on which is more of a bar/club, music is good there. There's a Revolution but I can't remember exactly where, Waterfront is decent too. Loads of options.
  9. The Compleat Angler is opposite the train station, by the river, and is only a few minutes walk from the ground. Will be plenty of our lot in there. Pretty big outside area there too, weather should be decent tomorrow.
  10. I don't see how JWP can be dropped after the last 2 performances. He's played brilliantly and his set-piece deliveries are important to us.
  11. +1. Our problem has been finishing and picking the right ball in the final third. We've bossed the midfield in both games so far, and I bet we do again on Saturday.
  12. Success WITH English players needs to become a trend. I hope we become successful with this side with a core of English/British players, and if that was to happen you'd hope that more clubs strive to follow in our footsteps and invest in youth rather than looking abroad and to experience every time.
  13. I'd love for us to show we've got goals in us. We've seen chances, but finishing hasn't been good enough in the 2 prem games and we could be more assertive in the final third. Plus, I'm spending 2 nights in Norwich this weekend with a friend who's a ST holder there, so avoiding defeat is essential, winning would be excellent.
  14. Buzzing for this today, craving a strong performance and a win. Be nice if that Osvaldo song gets off the ground.
  15. I'm not convinced the captain is going to lose his place any time soon.
  16. Very much this.
  17. F*cking stupid idea, it looks gash. But, it'll be covered when the cameras are on it, apart from the odd photo specifically for social media.
  18. There are no easy games in the Prem as we found out last season. PDC is a crackpot and a c*nt but that doesn't mean they haven't got players who are good on their day. Fletcher, Altidor, Sess, Johnson can be dangerous. That said, I don't think they're all that at the back and hopefully we can exploit that. I'm going for a win by a single goal, whether it's 1-0 or 4-3. Although I had a dream that Lambert scored early and we were 3-0 up... But I can't remember the rest. Might have a punt on 3-3.
  19. Too much about opinions to even bother thinking about.
  20. We haven't got a strong enough squad, or the experience to finish in the top 6. Chelsea, United, City plus one out of Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool for top 4, and that's your top 6. I think top 8 is achievable. Everton are still a good and experienced side, and to finish above everyone else would be some achievement. I'm fairly confident we'll finish top half, but top 6 is probably out of reach this season.
  21. Training fairly regularly for the Great South. Ran a 45:50 10k recently, and the longest run I've done since January is 8m which I did in 65 mins. Slowly building up the distance and plan to run at least a couple of 12/13 mile training runs before the Great South. Aiming to be under 80 mins but still carrying a few extra lbs to be going really quick. I'm also in the ballot for the London marathon, and going to do the Reading half in March. I imagine I'll find a different marathon to do next year if I don't get into the London one.
  22. Looks as if he'll get his chance this season.
  23. As above, that's pretty quick. An I right in thinking they didn't announce the allocation? Glad I got in there quick.
  24. Demanding chairman, demanding manager. You'd hope (and i think it does) that it rubs off on the players and they demand a lot from themselves and each other. It's pretty exciting what's happening to our club.
  25. I'd say that but swap Lambert and Osvaldo. From what I've seen Osvaldo is brilliant facing goal rather than with his back to it. I bet they'll be working on getting it into Lambert's feet and using runners going past him. That really is a scary front 4 to face as a defender with Lambert, Jay Rod's directness, Lallana's tricks and Osvaldo's right hook playing off him.
