Norwich are going to win on Sunday, they don't need the points tonight. 3-1 Saints
-
Baj should ban Miltonroader07 and dedicate it to Bobby Stokes IMO

The difference between Southampton and Brighton...
Jack replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Why do you keep on dragging up old threads? Nobody gives a toss about Brighton. -
What's the biggest factor in our recent turn around?
Jack replied to Cheam Saint's topic in The Saints
...is the correct answer. -
Holt isn't all that. Fonte's job. If he can keep Ba in his pocket then he'll do the same to Holt.
-
There's no reason we can't win this, but it'll be tougher than yesterday. Norwich much better organised, and we won't have the time and space that Newcastle allowed us. Their closing down and pressing was hopeless. Hopefully everyone's recovery is fine and we can get the same XI out there for the 4th match running. Saints 2-1 Norwich

I hope that person is found, someone needs to have a serious word with him.

Strange that none of the penalty shouts were shown on MOTD2.

Cork for me, for the 3rd game running. He's been ridiculously good and really makes us tick in midfield. It's no coincidence that we've hit some form with him back in the side.
-
What the f*ck is the point in posting that? Attention seeking, trying to show you're ITK.

Top thread.

It's a pain in the arse. I don't want to miss it, but the lack of public transport is a real problem, as is trying to talk someone into driving while the rest of us get on the beer.

Met Office app is saying heavy rain on Saturday, but Sunday will be dry and bright. Nothing to see here.
-
Apparently we've got 9 points already. I didn't read past that. If they can't get the simple stats right, then it's probably not worth reading. Plus, as mentioned, there's no real point in comparing 2 very different types of midfielder.
-
If we get 4 points from the next 2 games I'll be very impressed. Can't see us getting anything at Anfield, they seem to be getting themselves sorted somewhat.
-
Barnsley at home. Remember him playing well in that one and setting Lallana up for an easy finish. 2-0 I think

Newcastle ticket update - Block 43 on sale to home supporters
Jack replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
How annoying. I had better dust off the old ST booklet to wave at these JCLs in block 43. -
Good news, will be a top player for us.

Absolute meltdown on the Newcastle forum I was just looking at. Similar to what this place has been like for a big chunk of the season. Apparently can't defend, no creativity in midfield apart from Ben Arfa, Pardew hasn't got a clue, they won't win away etc etc. Lets hope they have a tough game on Thursday and the lads put in some decent work in training this week. Even if Newcastle are playing sh*t, they'll more than likely be a LOT more dangerous than QPR were. That said, with their poor form and 2 decent performances on the bounce for us, they're there for the taking.
-
It should be neutral. Not giving him any sh*t, and no cringey bullsh*t like chanting his name. Focus on us.
-
Unchanged please. Need to be a bit sharper in midfield and keep possession a bit better, but I think we'll cause them problems. A week of teaching Gazzaniga when to come and when to stay would be useful also.

Ibiza voice music box podcasts - about 30 House and Deep House mixes on there, all about 100 minutes long with no track intros or interruptions. A very good find. Spotlight club podcasts - Similar, but more varied artists. Carl Cox to Oakenfold to Dan Ghenacia, all sorts. No real interest in listening to anyone talking, I'd rather listen to music.

Cork for me. Everything we've been missing in midfield. Morgan made a lot of mistakes today but Corky did all the clearing up tht allows him to operate. Special mentions for Punch, Shaw, and I actually thought Yoshi had a good game. Read the dangers well today.
-
P*ss poor from Morgan again. Sitting too deep and inviting pressure. Defending ok but need to control the midfield better.
