  1. Yo mama's so fat, she's got smaller fat people orbiting around her.
  2. I think you should have a serious word with yourself and be less reckless in future!
  3. Matthew Le Tissier??
  4. If QPR fail to win at Villa, and other teams in the bottom few pick up points at the weekend, people will be saying they've got no chance again. Villa seem to be doing a bit better and will put up more of a fight than Sunderland (and ourselves, annoyingly). A draw would be perfect as it's no good for QPR and would keep Villa below us. Wigan have a tough home game against Newcastle who are on the up, but I fancy Sunderland to pick up at least a point at home against Norwich. United should smash Reading without too much bother. I guess Fergie will be fuming and demanding a response. I don't think we'll get anything against Liverpool, but I also think the other results will mean not a lot changes over the weekend, just 1 less game for the sides trying to catch us.
  5. Steven Davis vs City for a start.
  6. 18. QPR 19. Wigan 20. Reading Not very creative, but looking at the fixtures, that's how I see it. I can see Sunderland getting sucked right into it, but I don't see the bottom sides making up enough points to catch them. I think 15th-17th will be Villa, Saints and Sunderland in no particular order, and not ahead of 18th by much.
  7. Really should've won that yesterday and things would have been looking ok. I think Sunderland could get dragged into it, not in good form at all and got a fairly tough run in. We need to surprise either Chelsea or Liverpool and really find some form in the games after that. Need to start converting some of these chances.
  8. I'd drop Gaston, far too much showboating and plain refuses to play the easy ball. We ballsed up so many opportunities to counter in the second half yesterday by not playing the simple out ball to the right man. -------------Boruc Clyne - Fonte - Yoshi - Shaw --------Cork ---- Morgan Lallana ---- Davis ---- Rodriguez ------------Lambert Davis will offer so much more defensively than Ramirez, and is much better at keeping possession and finding a man wearing the same coloured shirt. Lallana will start ahead of Puncheon, although I really can't see what Puncheon has done to be so out of the picture. JWP coming on was a strange one yesterday, we could've done with punch running at them for the last 15 yesterday.
  9. Nervous about this one. Lose and we'll be right in the sh*t with Villa, Reading and QPR having good chances to pick up points, and 2 tough home fixtures coming up. Norwich are a decent side at home and hard to beat. They never seem to be out of a game, and with our habit of conceding at bad times, I don't think we'll have enough to win there. Score draw at best IMO. I also think Villa will win at Reading, and QPR to take at least a point from Sunderland at home. I think we'll be in a position where we'll really need at least a win out of Liverpool or Chelsea at home. I just hope we can find the sort of performances we were getting used to before the Newcastle game.
  10. The Compleat Angler is convenient in the middle of town and often used by away fans. Opposite the train station, on the river.
  11. If we do a decent enough job in midfield, they shouldn't cause is too many problems down the flanks anyway. 3-1 Saints again. Cork to score in the 90 will make me happy, it's about time he did FFS.
  12. Probably living/based in Aberdeen, working offshore or abroad. Currently living in Peterhead but it's a ****hole and far too small a place to be happy to live in. Plan is to chase the big bucks for a few years while I'm in my 20's, buy my first house by the end of next year and make the most of the gas & oil money while I'm young, free and single. I didn't realise just how good the money and opportunities are in that part of the world til I moved up there a few weeks ago. Just a shame it's 600 miles from home.
  13. It's unlikely, but I'd love it if we absolutely humiliated them today. Swansea took them apart recently, we've probably got more firepower than them when we're on it. 4-1 anyone?
  14. That goal COMPLETELY changed the game, and set us on the way with that 2nd half of the season.
  15. F*cking top news.
  16. Surprised Punch has been dropped. That's a strong bench.
  17. On the subject, does anyone know of any pubs close to Liverpool Street or around Hackney/Shoreditch/Bethnal Green that might have a choice of games on next weekend? I'm in London for the weekend and would be good to catch the QPR game. I suppose it'll be on somewhere around Shepherds Bush or White City but that's a bit of a trek when we're staying in East London.
  18. Jack Cork to score a screamer today. I'm talking a Matty Oakley vs the skates type of screamer. Hopefully as the winner in the 94th minute. Be nice to see Lambert on the scoresheet today as well. Being honest, I think it's too tough to call today. Our performances since MP came in have been good, but we haven't quite picked up the points they've warranted. SJP is a tough place to go no matter who you are. We'll need to be at our best to win.

Not unrealistic either. I think Stoke v Fulham will be low scoring, could go either way. Arsenal will bounce back against Villa. Norwich haven't been great recently, they've been setting up really negatively, think Everton will break them down. QPR are sh*t, United are not. Reading will sit back and soak it up, concede, then go all out in the last 10 and score a 96th min equaliser. Probably that little sh*t le Fondre. Cue media "you've got to love Reading's spirit and never say die attitude" papering over the fact that they're sh*t. WBA are a much stronger side with Yabob and Mulumbu as the CM pairing, think this is their 2nd or 3rd game back together after injuries. Close game that WBA should just edge. I'll have to go and stick a couple of quid on those outcomes now...

    Fulham v Stoke 0-1 Arsenal v Villa - 3-1 Norwich v Everton - 0-2 QPR v Man United - 0-3 Reading v Wigan - 1-1 WBA v Sunderland - 2-1
  21. The bookies think Lawro is right. When I checked in Coral earlier we were 5/2 and Newcastle 10/11
  22. Might be slightly unfair on Fox as he had a reasonable game, but Luke Shaw has got to start ahead of him when fully fit. He's so much better at defending, and has got the pace to get forward and cause problems. That'd be my only change from the Citeh game.
  23. I love it. I remember the day we got relegated, the amount of sh*t I got from skates I knew. I remember telling them to enjoy it while it lasts and that balance would soon be restored. I believed it would happen, but I never, ever could have imagined it would get that bad for us, and now this good, and now this bad for them, and how quickly it all happened. What a brilliant story. WTFILN

  25. He should definitely keep it. Lambert as captain just feels right. Plus there's no guarantee that Lallana can slot straight back in when he's fully fit, and I don't think he was a great choice anyway. He's young and injury prone, and doesn't seem to be very vocal. Lambert has been the main main man for coming up to 4 years now, he leads by example and I'm sure everyone looks up to him. Long may it continue.
