  1. Slim. Your best bet would be to tap up a STH on here. As usual, it's looking expensive to get up there. Friday - Sunday from Southampton is a £92 flight, £74 train or £100+ on fuel.
  2. Can't wait for this. Got a good group of friends in Manchester so will be going up on friday and home Sunday night. If they move it to the monday i'll be fuming. Manchester is a top city, great for partying.
  3. You'd bet your house on it. I think there should be an 'idiots guide to SWF' to help these people through.
  4. A better bet would've been Forecast making a first team appearance for Saints - similar odds I'd imagine
  5. Really good to see these vidoes. August and September really were incredible. Couple of things I really noticed from these was how much our starting XI changed through the season, and how we changed tactically. The way we kept and moved the ball in those first couple of months was unbelievable. Cork's through ball for Guly's goal vs Millwall was sublime, as were a few of Guly's performances early on. Real shame he never kept that up after about the end of October, we could well have had a better shot at the title if he'd kept up with that level of performance and strike rate
  6. What an inconsiderate way to kill yourself. Same as jumping onto a motorway - just f*cks up everyone else's day.
  7. Stadium expanded IMO. Or the seats changed for padded ones. Or Nigel caught banging Cortese's mrs.
  8. Early prediction - the information from this journo on twitter will be far from accurate.
  9. Amazeballs... Saying that out loud warrants a slap IMO. Sounds like something a 14 year old girl would say.
  10. 1. Manchester City 2. Manchester United 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. Liverpool 6. Tottenham 7. Newcastle 8. Everton 9. Fulham 10. Sunderland 11. Stoke 12. Southampton 13. Swansea 14. West Ham 15. Aston Villa 16. Wigan 17. West Brom 18. Reading 19. Norwich 20. QPR Be lucky to get 4 out of 20 right, but that's roughly what I think will happen.
  11. [Wurzel] Well personally I think they're 'aving a laafff. He's our player and if he's going anywhere it'll be someone a lot bigger than Sa'ampton and for foive toimes thaaat amount. [/Wurzel]
  12. Go into your kitchen, look under the sink, grab the bottle with 'Bleach' written on it, and drink the contents. This board would become a better place, FFS.
  13. He played for the ex saints XI at the Solent Uni game at Test Park, and was absolutely useless. Funny seeing him and Le Tiss up front together again.
  14. Maybe Nige would be happy to take a job as senior physio with us if RDM took over. In all seriousness, I can't believe for one second that a Champions League winning manager would take the Saints job. I think he'll get the Chelsea job, I don't believe that Adkins will get the boot, and even if Di Matteo and Adkins lose their jobs, Di Matteo will be a very sought after manager. As mentioned before, it would be an absolute travesty if NA wasn't given a fair shot with us in the PL.
  15. How pointless. I can't think of anything worse than watching games in a half full stadium, playing sh*t in the championship, with protests against the owners and management week in, week out. Obviously that's coming from experience.
  16. Ince turned down Liverpool. Phillips is a possibility.
  17. If Blackpool finished like they did against us - Blackpool would be up. Vaz Te getting interviewed again, saying how much they deserve it because they're 'a premier league side'. **** off West Ham, Sam Allardyce, Gold, Sullivan, Brady, and Londoners.
  18. Blackpool & Chelsea double at just over 16s. Worth a fiver
  19. Afternoon everyone. My old dear is involved in events and marketing management at Solent Uni, and made me aware of this event tomorrow. She mentioned she'll be interviewing MLT, Lawrie Mac will be in attendance, along with several ex-Saints playing a match against Team Solent. All proceeds will be going to very worthy charities, including Exsaints. Get down there for a great day - the unveiling of a new plaque to celebrate the opening of the new facility is at 12.30pm, with Ex Saints vs Team Solent at 2pm. http://www.solent.ac.uk/events/events-articles/2012/testparksportsgroundopening Former Saints stars will be helping Solent celebrate the official opening of the University’s new Test Park Sports Facility on Sunday 20 May. The brand new multi-purpose sports space will be unveiled by Saints legend Matt Le Tissier and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Van Gore. The opening will be followed by a special exhibition match featuring Team Solent versus Ex Saints - including Matt Le Tissier, Frances Benali, Jimmy Case, Glenn Cockerill, Dave Bessant and Tim Flowers. All proceeds from the event will go to the Lisa Wilson Scholarship Fund and Ex Saints charities. Kick-off is at 2pm at Test Park Sports Ground with a half-time ball boy and mascot penalty competition and a charity raffle to include signed memorabilia. Food and a bar will available as well as free parking. Tickets are on sale now at Sport Solent Reception, East Park Terrace and Test Park Sports Ground Reception. • Adults: £5 • Concessions: £2 (children under 16, students and over 60s, children under 5 free) • Family Ticket: £12 (2 adults, 2 children, £10 if bought in advance) The multi-million pound development is the newest addition to the University’s dedicated sports facilities that enhance the student learning experience and put Solent at the heart of the community. Test Park boasts a full size “3G” multi-purpose all-weather sports pitch, the Wessex League floodlit football stadium, two adult size grass pitches, a changing room pavilion with teaching space, a function room for hire and bar and catering facilities. The new facility will hold the majority of the University’s Sport Solent matches and training, including outdoor football and American football. It is also the home of Oakwood Football Club who is a FA Charter Mark Club. For more information please email events@solent.ac.uk
  20. He's talking sh*t. Talking like we sailed through the season without any pressure. There was pressure to carry on performing after our amazing start. It started to show towards the end of 2011, but we bounced back with an amazing run and put the pressure back on them. I really hope Blackpool win, I want to see Allardyce's moaning and whinging after the game.
  21. I was more pointing toward the Pieenar and Johnson. Absolutely ridiculous to think we'd have any chance of signing them on our first season back in the top flight. And I think Jarvis is a real longshot. Apparently top 10 sides will be in for him, and the sort of prices being chucked around are massive. You think we're going to be signing £7-8m players? And paying £35-40k a week?
