  1. "Cuuuuuunnnntttt!!"
  2. Ok, I was exaggerating on the '5 games' comment. I was p*ssed and still disappointed having just seen the game back after getting in from the pub. I just can't understand how he can go from brilliant one game to not even remotely looking like a pro footballer in another. I think that if Nige had other options then Guly would have been dragged off after an hour. Everyone else stepped up and were brilliant, he didn't and he was poor.
  3. From my experience this season, Leicester was ok, Reading good, Brizzle poor, today - disappointing. Yes there was no beer, but FFS, it's Portsmouth away and we're top of the championship. It should have been rocking.
  4. I agree that you need a mix of both, but for a "flawed genius" to have flaws such as: -dreadful first touch -no composure -zero commitment to win a header these are basics at this level. I've watched the game back on Sky+ this morning. In the 2nd half, pretty much every time Guly got on or near the ball, he gave it away Not good enough for a team's 'genius' at any level. And to bottle a header as he did for their goal, in any game, let alone one this big, is embarrassing. He cost us a win at Fratton Park at the end of the day
  5. How many other Brazilian players can you think of who are as laid back and unenthusiastic as Guly? It's a trait of the player, not where he was born.
  6. I haven't yet read the rest of this thread, but I really felt the need to respond to this post. Guly recently DID ask to be substituted. His running was lazy. He rarely even jumped for the headers he should have been winning. His first touch was abysmal. He didn't look the slightest bit interested. Not ****ing good enough for a promotion chasing team, even if he does pull out a nice trick once in every 5 games.
  7. I'll get slaughtered for this, but support-wise, I thought we **** poor for a derby. However, those who weren't there, who the f*ck are you to criticise the fans that were there today? Hypocrites. Yes, the skates are absolute mongs, had **** songs, but they were loud as **** and we struggled to match them. The atmosphere, especially when we were 1-0 up, was awful. People that are saying to give Guly a break - were any of you at the game? He was the difference today, if we'd had a player up top with lambo, who had any sort of decent first touch, a bit of work rate, and some passion, we'd have won the game today. He was dreadful. Shocking first touch, wasn't up for it, completely bottled it.
  8. The chance to see us beat them at their place for the first time since the 80's makes any annoying travel arrangements completely irrelevant IMO. It's Portsmouth away FFS, everyone should be dying to go, now matter how awkward the OB are making it.
  9. Sorry, but Fonte and Deano all day long. Rocha is decent enough, Mullins is w*nk
  10. I want them to exist, but I also want them to suffer. Want to see them struggle in the football league, get them in the cup occasionally, and batter them every time we do.
  11. Very good read, has not helped my nerves one bit though. Being 24 I knew no real rivalry before their promotion. I don't know of any words that accurately sum up my feelings for the skates. Disgusting, cheating, uneducated, grim, sister ****ging, benefit scrounging pikey skate c*nts is probably the best I can do.
  12. I wouldn't sell another saints fan a ticket for more than face value, I'd feel like I was mugging them off.
  13. That'll be the inbreeding
  14. Illiterate and overconfident mongs. We're a 1 man team apparently, and have scraped a lot of 1 goal victories due to bad refereeing. Nice.
  15. You'd feel comfortable ripping off another Saints fan for match tickets?

    Pompey predictions

I've not been confident this week. But usually when I say we'll lose, we win. Them 2-1 Us. But hoping for a reverse, with Hooiveld getting the winner with a bullet header in the 8th minute of injury time, infront of the saints fans, followed by the most insane goal celebrations ever seen.
  17. We've got some of our group on Bus 2 Bursledon, and all of the second ballot tickets are on Bus 5 Bursledon I think
  18. Chappers leading the line. Everyone needs a bald psycho in a ruck. Probably have Deano, Rickie, and Jos and Jaidi swinging the haymakers
  19. Suits me fine. A day in the pub, football, night out, and all day to recover on NYE
  20. Hmm, putting 3 ballot forms in at the time didn't seem ridiculous, we didn't (I don't think anyone did) expect there to be SO many tickets left after the 1st ballot. Never thought that they would be issuing tickets for every applicant, on every ballot form, in 2 ballots. I suppose if we had sold out at any point then they woul have looked into how many tickets were going to each customer. I suppose it boils down to a serious over-estimation of how important this fixture is to our fans. I still maintain that the ticket office have made a right royal balls up of the whole thing
  21. Sorry pal, just sold the last 2 to some friends of a friend
  22. So it didn't clearly state on the OS that all successful applicants from the 1st ballot would be entitled to 1 extra ticket? And to be fair it's not just this that has p*sssd me off, it's the whole thing. Useless communication and making it hard as possible for us to pick up some bleeding football tickets. They've been useless at doing a relatively easy job, and very unhelpful in the process.
  23. Following on from this, we spoke to the ticket office and they're now saying there wasn't the same restriction on the 2nd ballot, and it's our fault for putting multiple ballot forms in. Tried to argue that it clearly stated on the OS that 1 extra ticket per season ticket was the limit, but they weren't having it. Asked to speak to whoever was in charge, told that there was no chance we could get the money refunded. So we're in the process of making sure we can sell all 12 spare tickets, luckily enough I think they're all gone but it's a massive pain in the arse trying to collect all the money and get the tickets to everyone. Could have quite easily ended up well out of pocket. Someone's going to get a right earful on Wednesday when I go to pick up the tickets.
  24. *their ticket* HTH
