  1. How's 'over reacting, attention seeking, bed wetting f*cktards'? To me, either one delivers the sentiment I was after
  2. Yep, sh*t manager. We should have won the league in December and at least won a domestic cup. Not like we're on the brink of successive promotions or anything FFS.
  3. Yea, that's why I normally avoid this place after a defeat. The same mongs that have started these 'Premier League we ARE having a laugh' threads, will be calling for Adkins' head after 10 games next season if we're in the bottom 3 of the prem. Morons.
  4. It's a good thing that the majority of the wrist slitters on here make up a tiny percentage of our support, and an even smaller percentage of out support that actually attends our matches. They have very nearly zero affect on what goes on at the club, so let them whine and moan and wind themselves into a frenzy on here, it means nothing.
  5. Was poor again last night. In 42, when at out loudest, I reckon only about 25% would be singing. I think nerves and expectation are killing it. I have no idea why though, we should just be enjoying the ride being on the bring of successive promotions.
  6. Good, isn't it. We've got 3 players who have scored more than their top scorer, and one of our centre halfs is only 3 behind. Jos Hooiveld hattrick tonight....
  7. Buzzing for this. I'm off to get good and drunk to take the edge off. An afternoon drinking in town and a top of the table clash involving the Saints. Can't think of a better way to spend a friday off work. For anyone nervous - remember the last 1st vs 2nd crunch game at SMS? A great performance and a thoroughly deserved win. Same again tonight.
  8. But we could have played for 5 hours at the pace of Monday's game. Was a walk in the park after Lambo's second. They had a gruelling game chasing the ball all round the park at Brighton, and they've had a day less to prepare for this one since our last round of games.
  9. I'm confident. More confident than I was about Monday's game. The skate game was a freak result, Palace was stupidly comfortable, and we got better and better. Reading are missing important players, and got a lucky result on Tuesday. I listened to it and Brighton battered them. We'll create opportunities, and we've got the strikers to finish them off. 3-1 Saints. Job done.
  10. My best guess is that he was on here every time we were playing.
  11. I do a lot of away games, but managed to get into January this season without seeing us win away. And I was drove to Forest, which is the first and last time I'd put myself through that, so couldn't get drunk to celebrate. Leicester 3-2 Cardiff 2-1 Derby 1-1 Reading 1-1 Bristol C 2-0 Donny 1-0 Skates 1-1 Brighton 3-0 Awful run. Since then has been ok, Forest 0-3 Millwall 1-1 (cup) WHU 1-1 Watford 0-3 Millwall 2-3 Palace 0-2

No thanks. Matt Jarvis would be a top signing, but I'd guess he'd go to an already established mid-table team on fairly big wages.
  13. Think I'd rather have a proper club like WHU up there than the plastic happy clappers at Reading.
  14. Strange, my experience of Serbia was the opposite. Flew into Belgrade, just spent a day there but enjoyed it. We then went north to Novi Sad which was an amazing place. Friendly people, beautiful city, everything cheap, and a good festival.
  15. Derby. Fact.
  16. Just to confirm, is the Reading derby/non-derby/donkey-derby sold out? Would be embarrassing if it wasn't IMO.
  17. Are Marseille fans DFCSBs though? Are they shamelessly uneducated, unloyal, unhygienic, benefit scroungers who rip off local charities? Fans of every team on earth should hate Portsmouth.
  18. It's the only legal way for them to say you can pick off your neighbour's pets, passing wildlife, or screaming local kid's footballs, at a distance of 200 yards. Anyone that says they would buy one of those purely for DIY, is a liar.
  19. Head Southest from the Alps. Last year we drove from Venice, round the coast through Slovenia and into Croatia. Beautiful countries, nice coastal roads, everything is cheap, nice people. I'll definitely get back to Eastern Europe to travel, probably backpack it though as trains are so cheap. By June in 2008, myself and a mate had saved around £4000 and were going to drive down to Austria and Switzerland to follow England around in the Euros. Obviously England didn't qualify, so being 21 years old, we thought we'd drive to Ibiza instead as we'd already booked the Eurotunnel and didn't want to lose that money. Endless, boring motorways and too many tolls. We should have flown and stayed there longer for the money we spent, about £600-700 on fuel and tolls as fuel was already €1.60 in France at the time. Was a good experience but if I was to drive into Europe again I'd be getting out of the Eurozone ASAP.
  20. If we're already up, we'll be on a massive northern p*ss up to celebrate that fact. Man the f*ck up and get a ticket, IMO. Plus the title won't be won by then. It's almost a certainty we'll be playing for something.
  21. Finally all booked. 4 of us driving up straight after work Friday. I booked a hotel in Newcastle City Centre so we'll be out for a few jars on Friday night before getting a 9am train down to Middlesbrough, then back to Newcastle after the football for a big night out. It's going to be off the chain if we secure promotion or the title up there.
  22. So if we win the League at Boro, you'd not be out till 5am? I'd be lucky to make it home on the Sunday I think.
  23. We can have them. They're a bit depleted and had a tough game tonight. If Brighton weren't so useless at finishing, it would've been a different story tonight. Saints 3-1. Cork and Fonte to get their first goals of the season. And a goal for SRL.
  24. Brighton are a massive pile of horse p*ss. CMS couldn't finish his dinner. Come on Gus, sort them out you little weasel.
  25. ****ing useless bum loving ****s. Honestly!
