IMO the league cup really isn't worth risking players over. With 46 league games and 2 cups to compete in you play a lot of games, often 3 a week for large parts of the season if a team gets on a cup run. And now that we stop for international breaks too, the fixture list will get congested anyway. Also, the league cup hasn't got the same buzz and magic that the FA cup has got. I always want us to do well in the FA cup, but I'm usually glad to see the back of the league cup.

Had a dream last night that we scored twice which put us top by 3 points after the Leicester game. Wet dream if that comes true. TBF I'd be more than happy with a point, despite me thinking that it's a very winnable game if we get at them early. Their fans are not happy and very likely to get at the players if/when they start to struggle.

Was out with a mate last night who is an Ipswich fan, goes to Portman road regularly, and he's nervous about tuesday. He was saying that Chopra is looking sharp, so we'll have to defend well, but they didn't look great against Hull. I'm quietly confident. They'll go all out to try and beat us, that usually works in our favour.
