I knew there was an explanation for it. Shame on you, sir. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

No. Chelsea's is. We're playing at the same time "to be fair" Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

And knowing our luck, we'll need a point to survive on the last day and they'll be on 97. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Nearly £100m worth of 'Talent' not on the pitch yesterday

Absolutely not. As above, it's because he always strikes me as looking to do the spectacular to enhance his own reputation rather than playing fir the team. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk -
That's what's been occupying my mind more and more as survival chances evaporate. Keepers: Think McCarthy will try to go. We'll be stuck with FF. Defence: Cedric, Hoedt, Bertrand will probably get moves. Targett will stay at Fulham. So: Pied, Yoshida/Bedarnek Stephens McQueen DM: Could lose all of Romeu, Lemina, Hojbjerg, but hopefully not. So Davis +1, maybe Reed AM: Tadic will get a move. Boufal will try and he's welcome to go. Probably stuck with Redmond. JWP may be loyal, but a good offer could tempt. Think Sims, Hesketh will be regulars. Strikers: Gabbiadini wants out, we're stuck with Carrillo, may keep Austin, Long, Gallagher. Really don't expect any investment. That's not a promotion team. He's done nothing to suggest he's a team player. I'm pretty sure he didn't come to Saints to help them win things. He came to get noticed by a bigger club. The same may be true of Lemina. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk -
That is true, and if we do go down, forget the idea of choosing which players we keep. And forget as well any thought of signings. There want be any: just fire sales to cut Gao's losses. But if Hughes would stay, I'd take him like a shot. He might just persuade a few players to stay. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Correct. £100m of largely wasted money, not talent. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk -
No way Austin or Gabbiadini should start ahead of Long. Same team. They're at least playing together and look a goal threat. Still worried about the defence, though. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Absolutely right. The morale-lifting win is overdue. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Indeed. And it is. But we've played the same number of games. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Then you obviously don't appreciate the dire financial consequences of going down. 50% of backroom staff will be redundant. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

What a joke. Shroppie is angry and that doesn't happen very often. [emoji34] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Those are definitely the two that we've got the best chance of catching. Need to stay ahead of Stoke too. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

My real anger is that I believe Hughes would have saved us comfortably given two more months. He still might, but it's looking tough. In a few games he's identified a system and the players he wants and has almost got them doing the job. Of course, we are short of one quality CB and maybe a striker, but the team that started today looks coherent and can create goals. And that anger is only matched by what I can only call blatent cheating by Mike Dean. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
