My real anger is that I believe Hughes would have saved us comfortably given two more months. He still might, but it's looking tough. In a few games he's identified a system and the players he wants and has almost got them doing the job. Of course, we are short of one quality CB and maybe a striker, but the team that started today looks coherent and can create goals.
