And Gallagher and Barnes are the only two that we are likely to be able to move on. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

We don't buy top strikers. We buy potential. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. I wouldn't want to lose Lemina, not Stephens unless we can get a sensibly-priced upgrade. Keep hoping on the rest. Good luck. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. Offloading my any if those will be difficult. They have time left on their contracts and getting good money that other clubs won't match, so why would they go? You can't just unilaterally cancel contracts. The only hope is that those not getting game time but wanting it would accept a cut - can't see many fitting the bill on that list. No one will touch Forster nor probably Carrillo. Hoedt and Cedric will want moves but will expect too much. Clasie might take a cut. Boufal and Lemina will be given a chance Stephens is part of Ralph's plans. Long and Austin will see out their contracts. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. There will be no enormous squad rebuild. Replacements maybe if we lose the likes of Hojbjerg, McCarthy. Hopefully a striker, possibly CB and AM if Boufal goes and backup RB. Can't see that we need any more. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. Reading this thread now is hilarious. The difference RH has made is huge yet the usual suspects couldn't wait to run him down. By my reckoning, since he arrived: We've averaged 1.5 points per game. We've beaten two top 6 teams. He's shown faith in players previously ignored and got them back to their best (JWP. Romeu. Bednarek) He's identified quality in the Academy (Valery mainly, but Slattery, Obafemi, Sims) He's shown tactical flexibility He's had to cope with virtually no fit effective strikers but got us scoring. He's made supporting Saints exciting again. That'll do for me. No, not planning on criticism. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. Anyone seen any indication that away fans can buy at all? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. Hilarious. The usual suspects really getting into their stride with ever increasing criticism of anyone and everything coupled with categorical statements that we're obviously down. Replace the whole team. Sack the board and Ralph. We're doomed to seasons in the wilderness. Then Ralph makes inspired changes, wakes the team up, JWP and Valery score (as is now the norm). We win against a top six team. Again. Usual suspects vanish (well. most of them). Not even much effort to put it down to luck and Spurs playing badly. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. VAR would have ruled the goal out. It was offside. That's four wrong decisions in two games. Ridiculous. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. Yes indeed. And if only all results can stay the same to FT, we're 15th and almost as close to top half as relegation. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. Some refs subconsciously go into games involving a big team with a mindset that the opposition will clearly have to commit fouls to stop them. Because the big team should win, and it's the ref's job to help them by recognising that they are so good they don't commit fouls and if things aren't going the way they should, the opposition must be doing something illegal. And of course, teams as good as MU don't foul . Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. Which is why the big clubs voted against it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. Think I'll retreat to bed. I felt ill before I started following the game and I'm certainly no better now.[emoji2961] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. Plans scuppered by the after-effects of last night's food. Staying firmly put in hotel room, and mainly bathroom. [emoji2961][emoji2961][emoji3525][emoji3525] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

  16. I'll take that. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  17. This match could be an experience. Hoping to catch it in a Bangkok bar if anywhere is showing it. Given the large percentage of Man U fans who come from round there, may have a chance, but I could be in a minority in a Saints shirt.[emoji44] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. Where's that Pogba is a dirty big **** who can put himself about at will as he's exempt from normal treatment from refs. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. Very much a view through Welsh-tinted glasses. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. Being generous to Cardiff I could possibly give them 10 at a push, but their confidence must be shot after shipping 8 goals at home in the last two. A pessimistic view of our remaining games gives us 10-11, but with our better GD that will hopefully be enough. Can also factor in Brighton who are in freefall (but have winnable games) and Burnley who've had a great run but could slide now they've lost. Not really expecting anything from Man U and Spurs but a point would be a bonus and keep the spirits up. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  21. I'll accept your point of view. It was a rare match that I couldn't attend so no, I didn't see the last 15 mins, and your comments seemed at odds with all the reports that said we saw it out comfortably. If I misinterpreted, no offence meant. I'm just glad we didn't mess this one up. Having seen highlights, there was a touch of good fortune with both our goals, but about time we got some. Austin's disallowed goal should gave stood, though. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  22. Same team, except Armstrong for Austin. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  23. Finding it hard to hide your disappointment. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  24. We don't seem to have one Come on you Saints! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  25. Newcastle play Leeds on Monday, I think. We need Newcastle to get at least a draw for Saints to progress to the knock-out stage. Hope Newcastle are up for it as they've already qualified. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
