Well, I have spent the last week giving the new, eponymously titled, Slash album a good going over. It's actually very good. 14 tracks, featuring guest vocalists on each track including; Fergie from BEP, who has a great rock voice Myles Kennedy from Alter Bridge, who will be performing vocals on the upcoming tour M Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold Andrew Stockdale from Wolfmother Chris Cornell Ian Astbury - one of my favourite vocalists Kid Rock - who actually sings well (no rapping!) plus some legends like; Lemmy Ozzy Iggy Pop And there's an instrumental which features Duff McKagan and Dave Grohl. It's all very good and I especially like the way each track is arranged to suit the respective vocalist rather than sounding like vocals plonked on top of a particular mix. The Ozzy song sounds like an Ozzy song. The Lemmy song sounds like a Motorhead song. The Ian Astbury song could have come from a Cult album,etc. It's almost like a rock compilation album, it's very good indeed and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Not being funny but clutches don't often go all at once. Has it been slipping for awhile?

I watched the race on BBC3 at 9pm so I wasn't treated to the support races but I have to say, even if I may have said this before, the stark contrast in the TV coverage of F1 and MotoGP was really highlighted in that race. No coverage of Stoner's episode, very few replays of midfield moves and backmarker moves and microphones dead left, right and centre. Poor effort. It was only on the last couple of laps that Lorenzo emerged as a challenger for the podium, yet he must have been all over the bikes behind the top 3 for much of the race.

Great last couple of laps. Bit processive after Stoner's crash but the last 2 laps made up for that. Poor old Nicky though That Honda is mental on the straights.

So the leader crashes out and they don't even get it on camera. What's up with that?

I'd count Swindon as a top side and we certainly didn't beat them.

I hope they win. Then I hope they get absolutely torn apart in the final because that would be on one of the biggest television sporting events in the UK and there would be absolutely nowhere to hide.

The teams above us will definitely be getting nervous now. No doubt about it. We only need to win our game in hand and close up by a point per game to snatch this.
