The TV license is obviously an outdated concept but as long as it’s good value and the BBC continues to produce good TV and radio I don’t have an issue with it. How can you have an experiment to show the effectiveness of masks without showing how the vape behaves without a mask? If the cloud of vape was bigger and travelled further without a mask it would show that masks work in reducing the spread, that’s obviously why he didn’t include it in his video.

The problem with the demolition theory is the fact that when things are demolished they use a thing called explosives which make a very large 'bang' sound which would have been heard for miles around. Plus the explosion usually shatters every window in the building which would have been obvious. A Brexit supporting friend of mine came out with this crap, "I don't want Brussels making my laws", so I asked what specific law Brussels brought in that they wanted changing and they didn't even have an answer.

Obviously not everyone who doesn’t wear one is right wing but I was just thinking of the outrage of the Trump supporters and some Tory wack-job MPs over here who think wearing a face covering for a few minutes while shopping is a “monstrous imposition”. I guess the concept of putting up with a slight inconvenience for the good of others and society as a whole is hard to grasp for some on the right.

My memory hasn't faded, I wasn't really that interested in the Tory leadership nonsense at the time, just thought it was odd he wasn't made leader. He was the logical choice as he was the one going round in the bus with the big lie on it.

There was always going to be some time wasters, that is obvious, they should have factored that in. Anyway someone having a test because they have mild symptoms, are about to go on holiday or visit an elderly relative might be OTT but it’s probably not a bad thing. The government have fucked up test and trace so are just looking to blame someone else as usual. Like spending the last month begging people to catch a bus to work or go out to the pub, then they blame young people for spreading.

Companies were always going to rip the arse out of the Furlough scheme and it was always going to be open to fraud. We’re just going to have to pay it back later in tax, if the scheme wasn’t there it would be way more damaging to the economy.

So would I, but you can understand why some people in the US may be concerned that it is race related given recent events. It will be interesting to see the full context what weapons the police recover from the car.

It’s hard to tell what went on with just that small clip but I agree it does look excessive. The police have a hard job but if the guy reaching into the car was a middle aged white man in a suit would the outcome have been seven bullets in the back? I dunno.

Doubt there are many of cops who had already unloaded 6 times into the back of someone who might be going for a weapon.

Maybe could have waited to see if he actually had a weapon before shooting the 7th bullet into his back?
