  1. I agree there is still some bias but in general I would say VAR has reduced it. I can remember quite a few times where one of the 'big six' has had a marginal decision go against them that never would have happened without VAR, especially some of the offsides. If anything, VAR has shown up how useless on pitch officials are are getting decisions right. Someone watching on TV from multiple angles with the option of slow motion etc is so much better placed at judging than some middle aged blokes running around trying to keep up with play who have thousands of people shouting at them influencing their decision. I would probably make the VAR official the guy who makes the final call, or at least have more say TBH.
  2. I’ve never seen the appeal of Dubai, it’s just a bunch shiney soulless buildings in a desert. If nice hotels in a hot country are your thing then there’s a long list of nicer places I can think of with more interesting culture and without the religious/human rights issues.
  3. I thought he did OK considering.
  4. I’d probably take Mini over Theo if it is an option but not sure it will be, and I expect his wages wouldn’t be much different. Without knowing the finances and what options there are it’s impossible to say but Theo was a mainstay of the side that took us to the top of the league and beat Liverpool, Arsenal etc so giving him another year or two makes sense to me.
  5. What’s the choice then?
  6. I would have Theo in the side over Redmond or Moussa any day.
  7. I would go with this. Would like to see it as a 4-2-3-1 with Mini in a no 10 role. Can see there being goals on Tuesday but god knows what the score will be, both teams concede for fun and can be decent or shite on the day.
  8. It was reported elsewhere but you got it in your little head that there was some sort of mass panic going on, and that’s classic Daily Mail.
  9. Why don’t you just admit it, you read it on the Daily Mail and actually believed it. That explains why you constantly piss your pants over players taking the knee, you’re a Mail-Reading fucktard.
  10. To be fair, it is hardly being reported on most news sites I’ve been to, and the reputable news sites I’ve seen it on just report it as a variant that may go undetected by a certain test so it’s bollocks to say there is some sort of panic over it as dipshit suggested.
  11. Decent result, Salisu looks a right good player.
  12. A 7 point gap over 14 games is not a lot. Can’t see it happening but if we pick up a few more injuries it is certainly possible given the lack of depth in our squad and the fact that we have Mr 9-0 in charge.
  13. Is that a no to the pants then? Would give you something to sniff while you follow me round the message board.
  14. Fucking hell, you're like my own little stalker! PM me your address and I will send you a signed photo and a pair of my used pants if you want?
  15. 10 points clear with 15 games left to play, would be very unlikely we would get sucked in but it's been an odd season. If Fulham go on an amazing run and we pick up more injuries it could get nervy. Big if tho.
  16. If KWP is out it's hard to see anything other than a comfortable Chelsea win.
  17. Yeah, it's just stopped a friend of mine, he was slightly overweight. Left his kids fatherless and wife of 20 years a widow. Cunt.
  18. I would probably go with this. Move players from other positions and you just end up being weaker in two positions instead of one, we definitely don't want to lose JWP or Armstrong from the midfield. Mental that we have let ourselves get into this situation, any weakness in the Premier tends to be ruthlessly exploited. Playing someone out of position for a whole game at right-back is different to having them fill in for 20mins because the opposition will be set up to take advantage.
  19. Ralph needs to learn how to park the bus but it would be foolish to sack him IMO. Our poor run has just been the result of a perfect storm of having a small squad, a crazy schedule, injuries to key players, a high tempo playing style, and all whilst taking the cup seriously. If we had put the reserves out midweek and thrown the cup we probably would have won today.
  20. They need to change VAR so that the VAR guy makes the decision not some unfit middle-aged bloke who is struggling to keep up with play and just caught a fleeting glimpse of what happened. Sod this clear and obvious error bullshit and just give the person with the best view the final say.
  21. Cheating cunts, if Bertrand’s was hand ball then their one definitely was.
  22. Never a penalty.
  23. I’ve been critical of him but he looked better up front than in midfield, is worth giving another go free of any defensive responsibility IMO.
  24. Surprised Adams has been left out but happy with that.
  25. Yeah those, and anyone with even a basic understanding of the science.
