  1. He could have gone round raping and murdering and he still wouldn’t have been impeached. All seems a bit pointless, I suppose at least it shows the republicans up for what they are.
  2. Exactly.
  3. To be fair they totally outclassed Burnley so that would have raised their expectations. Problem is it was Burnley's reserves who are shite. Can't see us having any problems there, even with a few injuries. Just hope fans are allowed back by the 17th April, would be great if my first live football in over a year is Saints at Wembley.
  4. Starmer probably has a valid point though. Wether you agree with the restrictions or not, sending out mixed messages is not very clever because some people obviously take notice of what they say. I've booked a few holidays, but then I made a point of not listening to Bozo after the Cummings fiasco.
  5. So it's nothing to do with left or right then, some people moan about restrictions, some don't. Brilliant, great thread.
  6. The biggest cry babies seem to be Tories from what I can see. Charles Walker calls for ‘route back to normality: https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1396087/summer-holidays-2021-travel-warning-coronavirus-charles-walker-shapps-latest-vn
  7. Thought he did OK. Couple of dodgy moments but he’s going to take time to get up to speed after so long without a game.
  8. Yeah perfect draw, could really open up. Sods law says we will finally win something when no fucker can go and watch.
  9. Wembley again then? Great performance, we’re a different team when both full-backs are fit.
  10. Great news that KWP is back. The fullbacks are so important in the way we play.
  11. All over the place as usual.
  12. Obviously we want to sign someone good but my point is it is easy to spend £20mill+ nowadays and get someone who turns out to be shite. Every signing carries a risk, Walcott on a free might turn out to be the best option even if he’s on relatively high wages.
  13. Bambi on Ice! Walcott's finishing isn't great, but neither is Redmond's - I can't think of any aspect of Redmond's game that is better than Theo's TBH. It's amazing how all the commentators and pundits who have actually played the game have been saying how great Theo has been since his move here yet you come on here and people just slag him off. He took on more people in his first few games than I have seen Redmond beat in his entire Saints career. His movement is better, his defensive work is better, he keeps possession better. He's far from perfect but giving him a contact for next season makes way more sense than blowing £20 odd mill on some 'next big thing' from a foreign league who just ends up being shite sitting on the bench for years IMO.
  14. Don’t be such a drama queen, we are going through a bad patch but anyone can win the cup on the day. Our problem at the moment is that due to injuries and a mental fixture schedule, Ralph’s high tempo style has completely come unstuck. Champions League will be back soon so we will be back to a game a week, get our key players back fit and we will be a decent side again.
  15. Some of our key players badly need a rest but we’ve already fucked up our league campaign and we probably won’t go down so I would go full strength in this one. Our priority has to be to actually try and win something, whilst it’s unlikely it’s far from impossible. Plenty of teams have proved that before.
  16. If they sack him then no more death threats - sorted.
  17. Anyone who thinks we shouldn’t keep Walcott after that display by Redmond is a fucking idiot.
  18. Fucking useless.
  19. That's one good thing about VAR, ref's can't make up the same old excuses about not seeing what happened, there is no hiding place for incompetent twats like Dean and Mason anymore.
  20. Unless we get a few of the injured back we are going to get smashed again. Luckily Newcastle are desperate for a win so will probably be more concerned with holding on than getting 4, 5 or more. Our first-teamers that are fit look like they need a rest, the schedule has been relentless and Ralph’s style it taking its toll on a very thin squad.
  21. I doubt they will overturn it, VAR means they don't have the 'didn't see it' excuse anymore. Overturning it will basically mean they are admitting their officials are incompetent.
  22. That's the bit that really pissed me off, he seemed to stand there for a minute staring at a freeze frame which would tell him fuck all.
  23. The cunt didn’t want to be at the club before tonight’s horror show, fuck him.
  24. That penalty decision was shocking, almost as bad as the Villa one.
  25. I’d send the team out licking door handles tomorrow.
