  1. Yep, that Oldham equaliser is the one that springs to mind for me as well. We had a great team that year and probably would have won the cup if it wasn’t for those 10 ****ing minutes Milford added on.
  2. A second referendum is obviously not a great example of democracy but do you really think Boris crowbarring through a no deal Brexit on the back of a threat of a Corbyn government is a better example? Maybe a good example of democracy would be for the PM to actually listen to the concerns of the elected representatives of the people and put a detailed Brexit deal to the electorate to decide?
  3. Unfortunately, whilst that is his only attribute, thanks to our voting system it is all he will need to win. It's 2019 and we have a PM who calls muslim women letterboxes and gays tank-topped bum boys. And we are heading for a no deal Brexit to boot. Labour have failed to provide an electable opposition, the only hope is that this is a wake up call and they sort their **** out. the one positive IMO is that Brexit really now is a 100% Tory Brexit and if it doesn't go well there will be no hiding place for them.
  4. Hasn't polling always pointed to a Tory victory?
  5. The document was real and published so not sure how it could be called fake news or lies. It shows there were discussions about the NHS and the interest on the US side, it’s out there for people to draw their own conclusions as to where that will lead. Bit different to “there is no press here”.
  6. Johnson rule of thumb: 1. Listen to what he says. 2. Think what the polar opposite to that is. 3. That is roughly where the truth will be.
  7. Corbyn has handled the whole thing terribly, he shouldn’t be anywhere near leader of the party because he’s always going to have this baggage. I think you need rocks in your head to think he hates people based on the colour of their skin though.
  8. Probably both I would say.
  9. Not sure any of those makes him an anti-Semite. He’s dealt with anti-semitism in his party badly and has associated with a lot of dodgy people because of his anti Israeli stance, but that’s about it. I work with one of these hard left anti capitalist types, he is not in the slightest bit racist but has a similar dislike for Israel and mistrust of the US and bankers that make him believe all sorts of conspiracies.
  10. Pretty much echos my point: “For the record the sudden loss of Jewish support for Labour came when Miliband was leader who the Jewish Chronicle described as 'toxic' for Jewish voters. MIliband is Jewish. It was his support for recognition of Palestine before negotiations that did for him, they said. Being Jewish was no shield against this hostility.”
  11. Thought it was good, liked being able to flick through the goals of the other games at half time. The 2 minute delay is cool as well, when we were clinging on in the last minutes of injury time I just went online to check we had won so got rid of the nerves.
  12. It's almost as if campaigning for the rights of Palestinians has made Corbyn unpopular amongst some Jews?
  13. I don't think she was under age though, and to be fair lots of young women try very hard to put themselves in a 'situation' with rich and powerful men.
  14. The problem is we can’t pay a few more quid in tax because we will turn into Venezuela and all the nice billionaires will move abroad. So we have no choice but to just let these things happen.
  15. Even if that is true (it sounds like allegations of anti-semitism are being dealt with) it just makes him a bad leader who is not dealing with the problem well enough, it doesn’t make him anti-Semitic. Corbyn has long stood up for Palestinian rights, there is obvious motivation for Israel and their supporters to do all they can to stop him being PM.
  16. Didn’t play well at all but a massive 3 points.
  17. All over the place at the back
  18. I’d take big fat Sam over this garbage any day.
  19. Has he passed the ball forward once yet?
  20. That was just awful, they need to put Ralph out of his misery.
  21. I’m not a Corbyn supporter, he won’t win the election because he’s too far left, lacks charisma and is quite frankly a poor politician. He a toxic brand who should have been dumped years ago. That doesn’t make him an anti-Semite though you bell end.
  22. ... and by the garbage they read in the Sun, Mail, Telegraph etc
  23. I think most people with a brain can see he just has issues with Israel and that naturally makes him the enemy of many Jews.
  24. No, just wondered what their common Jewish facial features were.
