  1. Keep VAR, just sack the idiot who made the descision. Refs have always used the ‘didnt see it excuse’ now there is no hiding place for those that are just not good enough.
  2. This. The BBC is excellent value for money. It’s not just about the TV shows but the website is probably the best thing on the net (because it’s not constantly trying to flog you ****) and the radio is also good. It’s impossible for any news service to be completely independent but the BBC is the closest you will get and it’s vital that it stays that way. Having said that the TV license is dated, paying for it through some other form of tax would make more sense.
  3. I thought it was supposed to be the easiest trade deal in history?
  4. He would improve the side so yes.
  5. It’s only £150 a year. If you are that hard up I can lend it to you if you want? Or just set up one of those online funding things, I’m sure some people will chip in to help a poor old Tory.
  6. Yeah that would work.
  7. How would you subscribe to radio Solent?
  8. The license is dated, I would just fund it with income tax.
  9. It’s not just those sort of crimes though, people are getting burgled and next to nothing is being done. There is obviously a balance between how much we can do and how much we are willing to pay - I guess some people are just tighter than others.
  10. Not sure you've noticed but everyone is pretty much in agreement that serious crimes should be prioritised over minor hate crimes. I think you will find though that despite what you read in the Mail the proportion of resources used on these are relatively low, it’s just a side issue that’s highly publicised to get you gammons all frothing at the mouth. Surely we should have enough resources to deal with hate crimes, which are obviously on the rise because of social media etc, and also adiquely deal with other crime. Just accepting that police won’t even bother with certain crimes is a bit defeatist. I thought you Tories were supposed to be aspirational? Yet you are happy to let crime go unpunished for the sake of a few quid in tax.
  11. 7 points clear, with our fixtures e should be fine. It’s a shame we didn’t invest and make an effort to get into Europe, chances like that are rare in this league. Typical short-sighted penny pinching from the club.
  12. As I said, we get what we vote for. This country chose to pay less tax and have fewer police - you just have to accept that some crime will go unpunished.
  13. Hope they win it this season now. Would rather have City in the CL than ****e like Leicester.
  14. Learn to drive properly and stop being a ***t and you will be ok then.
  15. There's nothing great in that story. Neither the Police wasting their time or some arsehole feeling the need to have pop at transgenders is worth celebrating.
  16. Just goes to show, you never know what sort of **** you are sat next to at SMS.
  17. Shouldn't you be digging out some quote from the bible or is this one not religion related?
  18. That's complete ********. I'm friends with a fair few coppers and all they tell me is that moral is on the floor and resources are stretched to breaking point - it's a simple case of priotising the most serious crimes and leaving some alone. The only problem is people like you **** your pants and scream Venezuela at the mere thought of paying a bit more tax.
  19. You get what you vote for. If people don't want to pay taxes to fund the Police then we have to accept crime going unpunished.
  20. You aren’t talking about priests either - that’s my point. Sex crimes relating to religion only seem to important enough to rant about if it’s Muslim related - clear agenda.
  21. Different cases but both people exploiting vulnerable youngsters, both with a religious element. If it was Imams buggering kids don't you think certain people on here would be banging on about it a bit more?
  22. Agree, that's just as important. Some people seem obsessed with the Muslim thing though - don't seem to bang on about white Christian rapists quite as much.
  23. From what I read the Police seem pretty determined not to repeat their past failures for this sort of thing, it's be so high profile. I guess you want a similar investigation into why choir boys tend to get buggered by mainly white, Christian priests?
  24. The issue is obvious, Hypo seems to think the police are not investigating it, though they clearly are now.
