Makes sense to me. Problem is if our government do this and remain won then the Tories will get destroyed by Farage at the next General Election. So for the good of the Conservative party we have to just plough ahead with no deal regardless of how bad the consequences for the country.
-
Nothing is going to heal the divisions, all that matters is doing the right thing for the country. A second referendum is obviously not ideal but not as bad as just ignoring the will of the people, or probably crashing out with no deal.

Why would we need to threaten no deal if it is the "easiest trade deal in history"? Fact is no deal still is a possibility, and was the whole time Mrs "no deal is better than a bad deal" May was negotiating. Unless Boris explains his solution to the NI border problem it is an irrelevance because the EU value the integrity of the Single Market over a trade deal with us. This whole legal circus is just to distract us all from the fact that Boris has no solution to the NI Border. The Brexit that was sold to the public requires a border. -

Like when Boris and his pals blocked May's deal? -

If Boris wins it will be because he is up against Corbyn. Fred West would have an outside chance of winning against that ****. I think we should all have good reason to despise our FPTP system of democracy, for forcing that choice on us. -
Do you really think the threat of no-deal made that much difference? The EU know that no deal would be much worse for us than it would for them, and more importantly they know that we know that. They know it's only "on the table" to act as a threat not because we actually want it to happen. It's a blazing saddles, don't move or I will shoot myself in the head, situation.
-
It will be interesting to see what deal he comes back with, my guess that he won't get anything substantially different to May's which is why he is so desperate for a GE before October 31st.
-
Surely as Boris was the main Brexit cheerleader he knows what leave means, and we are kept being told leavers knew what they were voting for. So it's quite simple, whatever leave Boris comes up with vs remain.
-
It would, you get Parliament to agree on the deal subject to a legally binding vote and if we vote to leave it wouldn’t have to go through Parliament again.
-
There just needs to be a simple binding referendum with whatever deal Boris can come up with (or if he chooses, no deal) and remain. Boris was the main Brexit cheerleader, they told us it would be the easiest deal on history - get the deal and let us decide.

Ings was deservedly MOTM, his goals knocked the stuffing out of them when they were having a good spell. A Saints fan stuffing two goals in the Fratton end is legendary stuff. It’s the sort of thing we all dream about. Thought Bednarek and Ward Prowse also had cracking games, and fair play to Redmond for coming on and going for the jugular. The whole side should be very proud because this game could easily have gone the other way, we’ve all seen Saints sides in the past **** up against lower league sides.
-
The lads did us proud tonight, that could easily have been a banana skin.
-
Sweet revenge. Two goals at the Fratton End for the Netley lad. Get the **** in!
-
Happy with that. Let’s smash these ****s!

This.

4 day week now. **** me these loons have finally lost the plot.
-
**** no. You can’t rest anyone for this game. For me it’s the biggest game since Swansea away under Hughes.

What a load of ******, they are doing nothing different to any other party in stating what they stand for and what they would do if they got into power. -
Newspapers are on borrowed time anyway, few will shed a tear when the likes of The Mail and Sun go tits up.
-
The last time I went to Fratton Park the toilet roof was knackered and I had to take a sh!t in the rain. I have been to all sorts of countries around the world but Fratton is still the only place I’ve had to put up with being rained on whilst curling one out.
-
It's OK Boris is confident and it is "the easiest trade deal in history" so he's bound to come back with a great deal.
-
But they know no-deal is worse for us and they know we know that, so it's not really much of the threat. The bottom line is the fact that the integrity of the common market is more important to them that a free trade deal.

I’m not surprised by what Cameron said, But I expect a lot of the morons who fell for his bullish!te at the refurendum would be surprised to find out he didn’t believe a word of what he was saying and was just treating the whole thing as if it were some Eton debating game.

I think it’s fair to say VAR has been a success so far, the only cock up was the city disallowed goal against Spurs but that was more down to the rule change than VAR.
