The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

I think most people with a brain can see he just has issues with Israel and that naturally makes him the enemy of many Jews. -

No, just wondered what their common Jewish facial features were. -

They don’t look like the average indigenous Israeli, just look African. -

Problem is, to monitor them all requires manpower which costs money and we can’t tax people with lots of it in case they move abroad or something. -

Truly heroic stuff, those guys should get rewarded with something because they undoubtedly saved lives. Amazing that they do that why some people in the same situation think the best thing to do is get to a safe distance, get their phone out and film it. -
Wether the gist of the article is right or wrong is irrelevant, use language like that and you empower other racist idiots to do the same. It's the sort of language you hear from the village idiot down the pub.

Pussying out of the Andrew Neil interview as well by the look of things: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2019-50592259 -
This. I cannot see any good outcome to this GE. Both a Labour government or a Boris government with a hard Brexit will probably be very bad for the economy if all the experts are to be believed. A hung parliament with some sort of coalition has to be the least bad outcome, but that would be a mess.

I'm going to vote Lib Dem as always, just because where I live it's a straight choice between them and the Tories. Main negatives are: 1. The leader doesn't inspire me much 2. There policy on Brexit is too extreme - a second referendum can be the only way to reverse Brexit IMO. 3. Haven't read their manifesto this time but they tend to be soft on crime.

"I recognise that anti-Semitism has surfaced within the Labour Party, and has too often been dismissed as simply a matter of a few bad apples. "This has caused pain and hurt to Jewish members of our party and to the wider Jewish community in Britain. "I am sincerely sorry for the pain which has been caused, and pledge to redouble my efforts to bring this anxiety to an end." Not sure what else you want him to say?

Even Farage wants to plant a billion trees to help stop it. This is pretty much the only place you can go to find people thick enough to not believe it.

We all know that our FPTP system means that is nonsense. Anyway that would only make sense if it was a single issue election but there are many different issues just as or more important thatn Brexit.
-
So instead of giving the people a straight choice of his deal or remain, he has given us a choice of his deal or remain with a socialist government. Great example of democracy.

Just shows how relatively quick the warming has happened - what do you think is causing it?

These companies make billions and at the forefront of the technology, they should be able to moderate themselves - if they can't they can be blocked like other websites are.

Surely it can work in a similar way to how the press or TV is regulated?
-
I guess by urging people to "vote with their conscience" he means don't vote for anti-semites or people who call muslim women letterboxes and gays tanktopped bum-boys?
-
The really depressing thing is that the ineptitude of the opposition make the result inevitable and Boris and his ilk will see that as a mandate for a no-deal Brexit, and there will be nothing to stop them once they have a majority. Labour’s policies are a car crash so the only good outcome I can see from this election is a hung parliament and some sort of coalition.

I have no time for momentum or Corbyn to be honest, just don't think it's right that services are in such a state when there is so much money sloshing around.
-
I'm not rich but earn well above average - I'm pretty sure if the tax system meant all mid-high earners paid a bit more we could stop the trollies thing quite easily - wouldn't that be nice? If you are happy to let people suffer in misery and pain because you want a few more quid at the end of the month to then I really pity you. As for the super rich - I cannot even get my head round why someone with that sort of wealth objects to paying into a system that has helped them become so wealthy.
-
In my opinion it’s nothing to with envy, it’s just about paying for vital services and helping people who are in a worse position to have some sort of decent life. I couldn’t give a monkey’s where the money comes from, I’m happy to pay more tax, I wouldn’t even notice if the chucked a few pence on income tax to stop people being piled up on trollies in hospital corridoors. It just makes sense for people with more to contribute more, especially with the current state of our capitalist system where the divide between the rich and poor is more pronounced. Billionaires are the new millionaires whilst some hardworking people can’t even afford their own house and we are cutting important services.

Sharing is caring, even my 5 year old daughter understand that.

Obviously some were but most were not otherwise Boris deal wouldn’t have gone through. The only deal Parliament blocked was May’s deal which Boris twice voted against.

We’re gonna get smashed with that lineup away at Arsenal.
