I would be amazed if he wasn't taking money out, especially given his dodgy past (bribery, executions etc) and the fact that he's taken out a loan to buy the club.

I don’t think he obliged to spend anything, but fact is we are competing with clubs who have owners who do. If a club our size has a skint owner it’s just a matter of time before we go down, the likes of Bournemouth and Watford are already ahead of us. We were told that Gao would take us to a new level, that was clearly lies so why should we believe a word he says now. It’s still not clear why the c*nt even brought the club, now we’re being told we’re gonna just **** about in the bottom half for a few more seasons max until we inevitably go down because our owner is skint. Have we even seen a set of accounts which cover his time in charge yet?

All clubs pay wages, it’s only us that seem to win the net spend trophy every single year though.

Given what Gao’s just said about there being no investment I would say just stayed up will be an achievement.

That is pretty depressing reading, just a matter of time until we go down. I didn’t believe half of the nonsense that Cortese came out with but at least it showed ambition, when an owner says stuff like this it basically means we’re just going to be **** for the foreseeable.

I'm not a middle lane hogger, I just don't have much issue with them. Try sticking to the speed limit, chill out a bit and you will probably not get yourself so stressed out and maybe drive a bit safer too.

Lol, I’ve driven across Germany plenty of times. I know how to drive thanks I just don’t get this big issue with middle lane hoggers, IMO those who get most annoyed are just speeding tossers. If you are doing 70 you generally get very few issues.

If people stuck to the speed limits then those that sit in the middle lane would be more inclined to move in because they would be less likely to be stuck behind a truck because a load of aggressive arseholes are doing 90 in their outside lane.

Probably, but it's vital that a Brexiteer is in charge so these Tories can show us all what a good deal is. Then the logical and democratic thing to do would be to put it to the people to decide.

The only way to sort it would be for the Tories to elect a Brexiteer leader, they go to Brussels and get the "true Brexit" deal that May failed to do, then put it to the people to decide once the details of this "true Brexit" are known.

You do understand that if the people of Britain still want to leave the EU then the result of a second refurendum will not stop your beloved Brexit but help make it happen?

Chuffed the two main parties got a kicking. The public are obviously still polarised over Brexit, the combined remain vote was probably higher than leave - makes the case for a people’s vote stronger IMO. Above all it shows how desperately we need proportional representation so people can actually vote for who they want not for who they don’t want.

They should have backed a people’s vote ages ago, it’s the obvious way out of this Brexit mess.

I respect their reasons for doing it but couldn’t be vegan myself. I went to a vegan food festival not long ago because the Mrs was into it, the food wasn’t great and I’ve never seen so many pale, unhealthy looking people in one place before. You obviously can have a healthy vegan diet but I don’t think it’s as easy to have a balanced diet when you are cutting out so much. We have evolved to become omnivores, despite all the technology and comforts of modern life we are essentially just highly evolved hunter - gatherer monkeys whose existence has relied on other animals for millennia. Having said all that there are some great vegan recipes in the BOSH books by Henry Firth and Ian Theasby.

Hopefully Boris will take over. He will look a right chump when he comes back from Brussels with exactly the same deal, or worse, than scapegoat May.

A second referendum has been the most obvious way forward for ages now, the whole thing could have already been done and dusted. Parliament is clearly not fit for purpose with all the red v blue nonsense. A simple vote with two questions would have sorted it out. 1. Leave or remain? 2. In the event of leave - Withdrawal agreement or WTO?
