  1. Nothing on the mongboard surprises me anymore, especially the tendency for certain idiots to be deliberately obtuse.
  2. Did you actually go to any of the games? Even my 6 year old nephew noticed we were playing better under Hughes that Pellegrino last season.
  3. You’re wrong again, we got more points at home than away last season, just like pretty much every other club. That’s because it’s easier to win at home than away - that’s basic stuff. Why don’t you just admit you are talking ********. You’re quoting points per game when Hughes had 5 out of 8 away and two of the three at home were City and Chelsea.
  4. Hughes had a harder run of games, we had one winnable home game in his run-in, he did well to keep us up. Or do you expect us to be beating Everton away now, or turning Man City over? ****ing dickhead.
  5. I woul£ say Hughes fixtures were harder so yes.
  6. West Ham United A loss AFC Bournemouth H win Leicester City A draw Chelsea H loss Arsenal A loss Everton A draw Swansea City A Win Manchester City H Loss Apart from the West Ham game I'm not sure you could expect much better results - where do you think Hughes should have done better?
  7. ****ing shambles, this lot are going down.
  8. You are ignoring the fact that we had a run in from hell. Hughes has one bad result last season and that was his first game in charge.
  9. I expect they have been in talks for a while and he didn't want Charlton Athletic's sh!ttest-ever manager telling him who to buy. Great news - looks a good fit on paper.
  10. His stats were not great but if you look at the fixtures we had and the position we were in - Hughes did a good job keeping us up. Unfortunately I expect when he kept us up, got his bonus and secured a new contract it was a case of 'job done'.
  11. This. May and the EU know Parliament wont have the nuts to go no deal so by offering up a **** deal or no deal option it is bound to end up as a second referendum.
  12. You could flog Austin, Long, Gabbiadini, Davis and Ward Prowse - then buy one to decent attacking player and you improve the team.
  13. Oxford United away would be my choice.
  14. He ticks all the boxes, probably use us as a stepping stone but who cares if he turns us around. Well happy if we pull this off.
  15. The last team I want our shower of sh!te playing is Pompey.
  16. Or any country that feels like it is suffering from the effects of mass uncontrolled immigration should be able to decide on their own immigration policy that suits them best.
  17. Probably the best option but it will lead to a lot of resentment. Basically means that we’re stuck in the EU for good wether we like it or not. The only way a second refurendum would be palatable for me would be if the EU make some sort of concession on free movement.
  18. I guess she must have talked a bit more sense in her early years, every time I see her being interviewed it seems to be car crash.
  19. That’s one way of looking at it, another way is that May and the EU have carefully crafted a deal that they know has no chance of getting through Parliament and used the threat of no deal Armageddon to bully the UK to stay in against its democratic wish.
  20. Les Reed has a lot to answer for. Sacking Puel and hiring Pellegrino has to be one of the worst footballing descisions ever made.
  21. I find it amazing that that fat sack of **** managed to get elected. Labour are just a mess.
  22. What, sacked after one win in nine at Leicester?
  23. We’re definitely being buttered up for a second refurendum.
  24. Sousa’s record over here is ****, BFS would be less of a gamble.
