  1. Sometimes people are justified in using violence.
  2. Cockerill in but no Le Tissier, that is just bonkers.
  3. He's obviously not, but Cortese wouldn't sell him for £10mill. Hence he won't be sold to some second rate Spanish side because they wont stump up what Cortese wants.
  4. according to google he says: Ay guys. Today is the championship ga? Cho Junior 14:30 hrs in CT on Daybreak between our inter x youth. Come on? support gurizada.
  5. Just because he's not worth 20-30million, doesn't mean the Don will sell for less than 20-30million. Name one thing Cortese has done here that makes you think he will sell our best player for anything less than a ridiculously high fee.
  6. Irrelevant anyway, Swansea will probably out-bid us. We can never compete with them.
  7. He would only go if a big club offered silly money, no chance he would leave us for Real ****ing Sociadad.
  8. Don't get your hopes up, Swansea might be interested.
  9. 'Come on you blacks' just seems wrong.
  10. That reversed with black shorts and white socks and you have a winner.
  11. The idea that we should just be grateful we have a club and shut up is just lame. If you don't like or agree with something you should at least have the balls to say so. I've heard the kit is how it is because solid red is considered a more powerful colour. I agree with that but don't agree with the club's tradition being ****ed all over. I suspect Cortese has such big plans for the club he see's no value in being associated with the past which has been, in the main, not that successful.
  12. ...also only if you don't mind looking like a right tight arse.
  13. Pearl Jam - Ten Air - Moon Safari Radiohead - OK Computer Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction The Doors - The Doors
  14. English teams were often the best in Europe during the 70's and 80's before the Premier League was formed. I think the league was way more exciting before Sky ruined it.
  15. I think the product's popularity is alot to do with the history and tradition of England being the home of football. The Premier League doesn't attract the best players, or have the best atmosphere. It's definitely a more exciting league than the Spanish or Italian, not sure about German though.
  16. Taxes pay for services shocker! Labour got lazy and overspent as usual, the difference between the tories and labour is not huge though. The main problem is not the cost of public services but how large multinationals are running rings round the tax system. There needs to be a Worldwide agreement because it the moment these corporations are just sucking vast amounts money out of the system. The current globalised nature of capitalism needs to be controlled, otherwise we are just heading for another, even bigger crash.
  17. I expect every team's kit is made in Asian sweatshops.
  18. I prefer it to last year, at least there is more to it than plain with pinstripes. Still not Saints tho.
  19. I'm not in favour of having any fans on the board but for things like producing a popular kit it would probably be helpful.
  20. I expect the shipments just arrived from China and somone at the docks has opened one up.
  21. I think eventually this will happen everywhere, printing sh!t loads of new money just buys time.
  22. Red and white striped shirt, black shorts, white socks. The shirt could still look 'Southampton' without stripes as long as there is a decent ratio of red and white IMO.
  23. Not boasting, just saying that is what we do. We have to do it because our competitors down the road do. They have to because we are both competing with companies in Europe with pools of cheap labour. That's why the nature of today's globalized market means unions will be a thing of the past.

  25. I would do the opposite. There doesn't seem alot in this deal for PFC. They are going to box their ground in making any future expansion impossible all for the sake of a bit of car parking, disabled facilities and pedestrian access. It would also make the value of FP less should they want to sell it and move in the future. If they are going to do a deal with Tescos they should at least get a whole new stand out of it IMO otherwise it seems pointless.
