I'm better off than I was 5-10 years ago, mainly because the other half's salary has ballooned, but i agree with this. The whole system is f*cked up.

A line drawing of a really tight arse hole?

Is there any team you dislike more than Pompey?

Couldn't possibly hate any club as much as the Skates but Man Utd are not far behind. The only time I ever want Man Utd to win is when they are playing the skates, love it when they get beat in Europe. -
How long will it be before we are as big as we were in 2003?
aintforever replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
That's my point, if the margins are big enough the club can make the same or more money even when they are not full. In fact it could be argued that if they are sold out every week the pricing is too low. -
I don't mind tattoos if they mean something but they still look chavy.

A lot of people had a hand in sending us into administration. Crouch didn't have to write a check for 500K of his own money to save the club. As a Saints fan you have to respect someone who is willing to do that.

Won't take long if they keep investing like they are. The corporate is so expensive they are probably making more cash now than when it was full in 2003. -
I actually saw someone wearing one, a sad middle aged bloke outside the Northam end. I think they were designed by that Gecko bloke who appears to have been hiding in shame ever since.

NC would never sell for £7mill.

Adkins dropped him, if the goalie situation is what sends us down he is to blame, especially if all Boruc was doing was reacting to racism. All football clubs have idiot fans.

It could of been us as sisu take coventry into administration

I wouldn't be surprised if a deal is done to buy the stadium as well. I doubt buying the club just to be tenants would be a very attractive to any buyer. The stadium owners might be forced into a position where it's best just to sell. -

But whoever buys the club should be able to get it for a decent price. Without the football club the stadium is just a useless pile of concrete. As in most admins they will be days/hours from liquidation then someone will buy the club and ground for snip. -

And to think, many of the 'experts' on here made out administration was like the end of the world. Fact is going into admin and blowing off your debt can be a fantastic move. Good luck to coventry, they are a decent club with a great stadium, they will be OK. -

Yeah, in hindsight it was a close shave but we might have avoided going into admin if they had taken us over. I'm pretty sure if we were offered SISU or admin at the time we would pretty much all have taken SISU. We had no way of knowing a billionaire was going to buy us, we could have come out of admin owned by some one worse. -

I's a good job we didn't get brought by SISU otherwise we might have ended up in administration... ...oh wait, we did. -
Gerrard hasn't had many great games for England. At his peak he was good but he's sh!te now.

The income tax threshold should be raised higher than 10K, we need to encourage people to take low paid jobs instead of sitting around on benefits. Plus low paid people spend all their money so it helps growth. Give a millionaire a tax break and it just sits in some account somewhere doing nothing.

The thing is Wigan don't look a bad side at the moment and with their experience it wouldn't be a surprise if they pull clear. With us and Villa picking up the odd result you can see one of the clubs above getting sucked in. It's very open this year with only 4 points between 4th bottom Villa and stoke in 11th. It all depends on how Wigan do.

Don't be too flattered, it only stuck in my mind because you were being such a ***t.
-
I just wish that one day I will be as clever as you. "just because we are owned by billionaires means nothing" - your exact words LOL
-
LOL, how hard is it to admit you were wrong?
-
I only brought that up once (Saints can't compete with swansea in the transfer market lol), and that was because you were being your usual ***tish self.
