  1. I couldn't give a monkeys if people booed or clapped, they are entitled to do whatever they want. I will do neither but I can see why some fans might have the hump with the way Chamberlain engineered a move.
  2. He clearly rates Kelv and Gazza above Boruc. Maybe someone else on our famous transfer committee made the decision to bring him in? Why did he leave Fiorentina anyway, I was on holiday when he signed, wasn't it after the transfer deadline when Kelv was conceding for fun?
  3. Exactly how long do you think it takes to get a goalkeeper fit to play? It's almost January FFS, if he isn't fit by now he has serious problems!
  4. Because he's dropped him for Kelvin and a 21 year old who both keep messing up.
  5. Adkins obviously thinks he's sh!t overwise he would be playing him. There is now way he would be left out because of the bottle throwing incident though that does suggest he is not right mentally. His performance at West Ham wasn't great so I trust Nige's judgement on this.
  6. no chance
  7. A keeper and a central defender are a must.
  8. Just saying it how it is. If we are 2-0 up with 10mins left I still wouldn't put money on us closing it out.
  9. Go 2-0 up and we will struggle to win the game.
  10. Not sure it's worth saving players for a game where we are most likely going to get stuffed.
  11. if he gets a result he's not damned. that's his job.
  12. I guess Clyne must be injured. We're f*cked with that line up. Where is Ramirez?
  13. QPR, Reading and Saints. QPR will improve but they have too much to do with some tricky home fixtures left. Reading have some decent home fixtures but I don't think they are good enough to put enough teams to the sword.I think Wigan will edge it over us because they have more 'winnable' home games left. If we invest in the transfer window we have a decent chance though. A top keeper is a must if we are to have any chance.
  14. I would say survival is 50/50 at best.
  15. I would go for stoke away = loss arsenal home = loss Aston villa away = draw Everton home = draw man United away = loss
  16. I would be amazed if we get anything from this game with our keeper situation.
  17. Over 30,000 turned up to our Boxing Day game vs Exeter in the same league.
  18. Don't forget this little beauty as well... By Emma Judd Published on Monday 3 October 2011 10:59 THE Convers Sports Initiatives office is housed within 6 Lombard Street in London, home of Bankas Snoras, which is part of Convers Group. It’s a grand building on a busy street in the City of London, but as soon as the heavy doors closed behind me all was calm efficiency. Photographer Malcolm Wells and I were ushered into a plush meeting room, complete with large flatscreen TV with video conferencing facilities and a plan of the new Convers office, being built near London’s famous Gherkin building. We don’t have long to wait, as Mr Dubov comes in, greets us, and asks us if we would like a cup of tea and how we take it. And that brief moment was an introduction to the man himself – polite, perhaps a little apprehensive, and given to flashes of a self-deprecating humour that is like water in the humourless desert that was the previous administration. He’s a man who is obviously passionate about sport. He takes pride in telling us how his first visit to Fratton Park was in 1999, witnessing Manchester City getting relegated to Division One. He says that sport is in his blood, and how he has been to almost every football stadium in the UK with his two sons and daughter. And he says, in a quiet and polite way, that there was no one thing about Pompey that prompted CSI to buy it, but that it was a combination of factors – not least the fans. One of the most interesting things that struck me was how he said his staff collect all the Twitter and Facebook mentions of CSI so he knows what they’re thinking and what they’re saying. Mr Dubov and CSI may have a reputation for not speaking to the fans – but the fans should know they’re always speaking to him. And that’s the refreshing thing about him. While Balram Chainrai would always claim the fans were being unfair to him, how they didn’t understand how hard things were for him, Mr Dubov silently listens. And whatever the next five years might bring, I get the feeling there are big changes in store.
  19. And it's the home games against the lesser sides that you expect the lion's share of points to come from. Any game away from home is very tough in this league, as is any home game against the top clubs. Forget the current table it's meaningless until all the fixtures have been played, look at the games to come and the points we will need to get and it is a pretty dire situation.
  20. Are their mong fans still carrying on with their pathetic anti-Benitez tantrums?
  21. Fulham are not in great form so this is probably a good time to play them but I'm not sure we will get anything after yesterday's dismal performance.
  22. Agree, it's usually Turkish and his fellow playground bully Kraken. Very sad.
  23. To be fair the sunderland fans were also ****. **** numbers and **** support..
  24. Disagree. Silverwear is what matters and they have won less than Portsmouth in the last 8 years.
  25. Is recently. 8 years without winning a thing is not great for a club the size of Arsenal.
