Because their owners are as tight as a camel's arse.

If Everton can, we can. It's as simple as that.

How did the pay for Ba?

The usual short-sighted mongs laughed on here when Cortese said he wanted to win the Championship at the start of this season, yet we came within a point and should have won it. The lack of ambition among many Saints fans is no surprise, Cortese will be aiming for Europe next season. CL in the future is definitely achievable. Everton have qualified before, Newcastle could do this year.

Agree, whoever was in government would get a hard time. Handing out tax benefits to millionaires is not going to help get the average person on side though. How would you feel if you were a copper just dumped on the dole because there's "not enough money" seeing a milionaire given a few extra grand to stick in the bank?
-
Disagree. The cuts have barely taken effect yet. When people really start to feel the pinch they will turn against the tories.
-
Giving the very rich a tax break whilst we are laying off police and nurses etc whilst evryone is feeling the pinch is just f*cking retarded. Typical tories looking after themselves. Glad the c*nts got a good kicking in the polls yesterday. I can see a massive switch to socialism in the future as the austerity gets worse. Everywhere.
-
I can't think of a single reason why the c*nt who did that deserves to live. That's whats wrong with today's world, too many liberal do-gooder ****s looking out for scum. In a just and fair world the person responsible for that would just get a bullet in he head, f*ck rehabilitation. No one should live 94 years to experience that.

What struck me as odd was how quickly and well organised the publicity was. Website up, visits to the pope etc. I suppose people react in different ways and maybe they are better organised and wealthier than average but I couldn't help thinking something wasn't right. I would be a blubbering mess in that situation, I certainly wouldn't fancy a visit to the pope.

West Ham would probably be best equipped to stay up next year. I think it's very much in our interest that someone potentially weaker goes up.
-
I think West Ham will walk the play-offs, I think if we finished 3rd we would have. Us, Reading and West Ham have been better by far this year.

They should have stayed with their kids and had a few beers and some crisps on their balcony like anyone else. Oh no, had to go and have tapas with their w@nker mates. You can't blame them for trying their hardest to find her but I think what gets up some peoples noses is that they remind many of typical middle class arse-holes who see their kids as an inconvenience to their lifestyle, instead of being their life. Might not be the case, just how they may be perceived.

If he had been poisoned it could easily be covered up, just like if he was shot it could be dressed up as a bungled robbery or something. The way it was done meant that it had to be an assasin, that's what they want people to know IMO. I can't see any other logical explanation for doing it that way. Just like that other Russian poisoning (the radiation one), they knew the trail could be followed back to Russia and the technology involved meant it had to be their secret service. Why not just shoot him?
-
I'm guessing he was bumped off by a foreign agency. He probably cracked some Russian code or something. Whoever did it wanted it to look exactly like it looked - a professional assassination . Basically a statement saying "we don't care who you are, we can find your guys and kill them and we don't care who knows". Any cover up will be M16 not wanting to look like they've been done over. I expect the code breakers at M16 are a little more careful about where they look now.
-
I expect we will break it at least 3 times.
-
I expect it's a safety thing.

I'm sorry but you can't criticise them, their job was to find a buyer and they found a multi-billionaire. -
How many youth players will break into the side next season?
aintforever replied to doddisalegend's topic in The Saints
None broke through this year so I can't see any being ready for Prem football next season. Even our experienced players lack Prem experience so I would rate blooding kids way down on the list of priorities. -
This. A country like the UK should never face water shortages, even going through periods with lower than average rainfall.
-
Is there a get out clause if some major brand offers mega-bucks?
-
I've been to a couple before, never bothered with tux but most people do except the players. I just looked like a fat player.
-
He will be another McLaren IMO.

The way I see it there is now only two likely outcomes. 1. Liquidation 2. Chanrai takes ownership again Either way they are f*cked. If Chanrai buys them he wont invest a penny and will just keep them alive long enough to get what's left of the parachutes. The few will no doubt boycott, there will probably be another points penalty so another relegation will very much be a possibility. Liquidation could be a better option long term.

I voted Guly but Schneiderlin and Fonte also had outstanding games.
