  1. I've never said that you thick f*ck. How old are you, seriously?
  2. Even forgetting the fact that we are owned by billionaires. Swansea will average around 20K, season tickets from £449 to £499, Saints will average around 30K, season tickets from £495 to £780. If we are ambitious as our chairmans says we are we should easily be able to compete with Swansea.
  3. Because we should have the financial muscle to outbid Swansea if need be.
  4. We're owned by billionaires now dumbass. Have yo had your head up your ass the last 3 years?
  5. Possibly. But I seriously doubt they would turn away a kid with potential because the agent might be a pain in the arse if a big club comes in with a multi-million pound offer for them.
  6. Chambo's dad was a pain in the arse but his job was to get the best deal for Alex not SFC, in that respect he did a professional job. using the press to engineer a move is part of an agent's job. Saints made alot of money out of Chambo, if his brother was any good they would take him on if he wanted to be here. How his agent behaved wouldn't matter.
  7. If he was any good they would take him on. Being someone's brother doesn't make you good though.
  8. How do you work out your pecking order? We're a bigger, richer club with a more illustrious history in a more desirable part of the country.
  9. I never knew about IFAB, very interesting. Explains why FIFA have such a chip on their shoulder about England then.
  10. Geeze, you really are either thick, on a wind up, or 12 years old. Is it really impossible to understand that not every person at SMS is not a die hard SFC fan but just someone who likes watching football for a day out? A mate of mine is an Arsenal fan but as had a season ticket for years because he wants to watch footie every other week. Another mate is a Sheff utd fan but always takes in a couple of games a season.
  11. Same could be said of 90% of the Championship games. So many half full stadiums full of miserable fans watching a game that means naff all.
  12. At some of the League 1 games the atmosphere was shocking. Like watching a reserve match. I think you will find the atmosphere in the Prem much better, even with the theatre going types dotted around.
  13. Yeah, but empty seats don't make any noise. Better off with 20,000 loyal fans and 12,000 others.
  14. I know **** loads of people who think going to the theatre is entertainment, and **** loads of people who think watching a game of footie is entertainment. Yes.
  15. Of course it's not exactly the same you thick f*ck. Where have I said it's exactly the same? I can see why you think other posters are more intelligent than you. Are you 12 years old?
  16. Blatter obviously doesn't like the English game. Might be the press, or just jealousy but he's made loads of comments before. One example was when Real Madrid came in with silly money for Ronaldo it was "let Ronaldo leave" and "modern slavery" when Utd turned down the bid. 6 months later City offered silly money for Kaka and it was "Is it morally acceptable to offer such sums of money for a single player?". Then there's the World cup farce etc.
  17. Of course there are differences you plumb, to many people they are just both forms of entertainment though. I go to the Rose Bowl once in a blue moon, I'm still a Hampshire fan though.
  18. But they are. The thing is the only people who give a sh!t about how great a fan you are are the self proclaimed superfans, no one else cares. It's like if you went to the theatre and the bloke in front of you turned round and said "where were you when it was sh!t?", you would think, "I didn't go because it was sh!t, what's your point?". That's how many people view football.
  19. Glory suporters are scum, they should be dragged out into the street and executed in front of their families. by glory suppoerter I mean people who intentionally support someone good just to boast and rub real fan's noses in it. Fact is though, for many people going to football is no different to going to the cinema or theatre - it's just a day out. They might have zero interest in watching Saints in the championship or league one but might be interested in Saints v Man U. There's nothing wrong with that, they are still Saints fans.
  20. There is an element of luck in penalties but there is just as much during the game itself. It's more about mental strength and technique. That's why England are so poor, we don't have great technique and have a feeble loser's mentality.
  21. Agree, except the stuff about the programme is all in your head.
  22. Not exactly saying it's a "tragedy" though is it? Just pathetic excuses for apologies. And where are we since then, still no technology. Chelsea won fair and square, yet it is somehow a tragedy. Blatter is just a c*nt.
  23. I admire the people that didn't bother watching some of the sh!t I've wasted money on over the years. The really sad f*ckers are the ones who go week in week out, home and away. Get some balance in your life for f*cks sake.
  24. Do you have to take 3 keepers, surely we would be better off taking another outfield player?
