It's a shame the club can't get this right. Even though we are getting tonked off the field there should still be more of a feel good factor around the place. Doing things like having rows with the local paper, spats with club legends and bad customer service is bound to have a negative effect. Sacking longstanding programme sellers in the name of saving a few pennies, then straight away forking out for a private loo so he can curl one out in peace and quiet shows exactly where the chairman's priorities lie.

To be fair Spurs managers have always spent sh!t loads (how much did Hoddle pay for Richards?) but only Redknapp got them into the Champions League. They would have qualified last year as well if Chelsea hadn't have fluked the thing.

To be honest I wouldn't be that bothered about going down. I was on holiday for the Villa game, it's coming up to bonfire night and I have yet to see a win. Plus there are few Sat 3pms, and too many tosser fans and players in the Prem.

Can't see it happening unless he has final say on transfers - which seems unlikely given the way things seem to be at the moment. The fans would soon come round. If the team is winning no one cares about anything else.

You've never ever been able to trust journos, there is nothing new about that. Having a row with the press is pointless, particularly when it's the local paper. For many fans it is the only way they get news on the club, instead of free advertising all the club are getting is completely pointless negative PR.

The BBC is one of the few good things left in this country. It's refreshing to be able to look at a website or watch TV without being bombarded with ads full of w@kers trying to sell you sh!t products. In fact I think it's thoroughly depressing to watch too much advertising.

There is obviously something wrong when a manager says strengthening the defence is a priority then £30mill is spent and all we've added to the defence is a youngster from Palace and a Japanese centre back.

I find it hard to believe Cortese would be stupid enough to tell the manager what formation to play, or to over-rule the manager on what players to buy.

I have nothing against 4-3-3 but the idea of having the system of play imposed on the manager (which is what some people are saying may be happening) is f*cked and will only end in relegation. We essentially got promoted because of Lambert's goals, the team should be built around him. Any system which means he's sat on the bench and Guly starts is the wrong one for us.

Problem is Kelvin's cofidence is probably shot through after being dumped, same for Gazza after being dropped for no reason. Now it seems were stuck with this new clown.

I think the manager still has to have the final say for that to work. He's the one in the spotlight, it's his reputation on the line.

I thought the way he stressed the fact that "he picks the team from the 25 available" was hinting to some-one else is in charge of transfers. Also the "we will be playing 4-3-3" at the end was weird. Adkins has always previously said we can play different formations.

Considering how other clubs treat their legends I think what we already know is more than reason enough for Le Tiss to be put out. Put it this way, if Cortese is a true fan of SFC, why is he treating this guy like a c*nt...

I disagree. he could have said a whole lot more than he has. I think he has shown great restraint.

Le Tiss has every right to speak his mind considering all he did for he club. Loyalty works both ways, some Saints fans are just ****ing hypocrites.
