I'm sorry, but merely suggesting that on another thread would get you labelled a nutjob by the dell brains in here. Anyway, judging by what I saw yesterday. Europe will be the last thing on Adkins mind after about 20mins v Man City. We need to bring in some quality big time IMO.

Exactly, completely clueless. I doubt Terry is racist but he obviously called Ferdinand a black c*nt.
-
What a joke, Terry obviously called him a black c*nt. I can't believe how a judge can be so thick. The problem is these judges are so out of touch from reality they believe all this nonsense wheeled out by the defence and ignore all common sense (if they have any). It's the same ****-wits who jail people for years for posting something on twitter.

I think he could block a CVA but the club could still exit without a CVA though, would just be another, bigger points deduction. Certain relegation.

Friday 10th August for me. There will be a deadline for when the FL have to issue the golden share - that's the golden day. I think Leeds d-day was early August, I expect pompey have an extra week or two because of the delayed start of the season. I expect that flame they will be carrying around our lovely stadium tomorrow will outlive PFC.
-
Does anyone know when the deadline is for getting the golden share? Can't see Chanrai buying them now, those conditions look designed to stop his little game. They are f*cked, you get the feeling any day now we could get the good news.
-
Might be the case but unless the person collecting the bet left their name and address I don't see how the bookies records can prove anything other than some bloke won a bet 10 years ago.

You would think living in the Alps would chill you out a bit.

Could be a decent signing as long as he's fit and motivated. We could do with some Prem experience.

The Parachute Payments will only get paid if there is a football club. If they get liquidated there is no one to pay them to. It will be interesting to know if the PL pays the PP money to the Football League before it gets to the clubs. For example West Hams PPs will get paid to the FL and shared out because they went straight back up. I would expect the same rule will apply to pompey if they get liquidated. My guess is that if PFC are liquidated the PPs will go to the FL who will pay all football creditors in full and anything left over shared out amongst the other members.
-
I thought the rule was a football league rule, to stop the domino effect if a club goes into admin. If PFC are liquidated they are no longer a football league club so what their rules are doesn't matter, secured creditors get first dibs. That's my understanding.
-
If they are liquidated the FCR is meaningless.
-
How can they pay money to a club that doesn't exist?

This place is like being back at school. Nothing wrong with Alpine's post. It's clearly in our interests for Mario to be out partying for as long as possible. Hopefully Tevez and Aguero are smoking and scrotum deep in tarts as well.

Federer will still win, Murray will tire.

When you think of how bad it got when we were in administration it seems like a miracle to be where we are now. It's just a shame Marcus is not around to see it all happen. I distinctly remember being at an airport about 3 years ago, picking up a paper and reading about how we could go out of existence and pompey were lining up another billionaire. What a fantastic reversal of fortune.

This one has to win a prize.

There's a post on Ugly Inside that we've bid £3m for K Schmeichal

You don't have a clue what wages the club are offering. No reason why we wouldn't match or better Leicester. -
I just find it funny that people seem to be shocked that this sort of thing goes on. It's a cut-throat business driven by pure greed where the rewards are massive - and people are surprised they they told lies? Seriously? My mate has made a fortune in the mortgage business and there is not a moral person among them.

Good luck Whitey, at least you should get it all sorted out in time to watch kelvin n co face Man City!

He's quite clearly completely nuts. Thought he had a few valid points, just struggled to get them across in a coherent way. Watching him trying to argue for the legalisation of drugs was comical though, he's living proof of why it should stay illegal.

I read a book from one of Bomber Command recently and these guys were absolute heros. The Spitfire pilots got all the praise but the bombers also played a vital role in winning the war. Their lives were unique, they could be out in a Lincoln pub having a nice relaxing pint then hours later they would be in absolute hell, over the enemy homeland, inches from death. Then hours later they would be back in Lincoln having a fry-up. You have to admire their bravery and talent.

Lambert easily has the best celebration roar in the Prem.

The Echo is generally a better gauge of Southampton fans views IMO. More normal local people who actually go to games.

Spot on, I expect kids diets today are way better than when I was younger. Problem is the Playstation is just too damn good, running around outside climbing trees just cannot compete. Plus you don't even need to go out nowadays to make friends and chat to girls, it's all online.
