  1. So what is the point in these new EPPP rules then, every club could just sign their 12 year olds up on long term contracts that take effect when they are 17?
  2. I think we're forgetting that the new academy rules come into effect next season so he will probably go to Arsenal for peanuts.
  3. This Cala bloke has got to be some sort of p!ss take. Just had a look at his message on http://www.undersearesort.com and this is how it ends: "However, the Undersea's biggest contribution may be that it will give a great opportunity for humankind to learn that marine life is as caring and loving as we are with our own loved-ones." Either a match made in heaven for our fish fiddling friends or an elaborate wind up.
  4. As England's capital, London will always be part of England. As an important node in the global economic system we could benefit from it at the expense of the Scots and Welsh.
  5. Another f*cking massive waste of cash, commissioned bt that one eyed Scottish idiot no doubt.
  6. It's about time us English got to vote on this issue, we would be better off without Scotland and Wales dragging us down. The city of London is where the money is.
  7. Waste of money. A bunch of ****** commuters get to work 30mins earlier, big deal. Don't see why it will make any difference to business, people can work on the train now anyway.
  8. "The Premier League's parachute payments have been going directly to football creditors but Portsmouth will also directly receive £28 million from that pot before the end of the 2013-14 season. Further funding had been coming from CSI but, following the arrest last November of their main shareholder Vladimir Antonov, new investment is needed. It is estimated that around £11 million would secure Portsmouth's long-term future. "The parachute payments will effectively deal with the obligations of the CVA," said Andronikou. "We need someone to come in and deal with working capital. On a PNL basis (profit and loss) – on a pure performance basis – the club is washing its face. The existing board have done a fantastic job but it still needs working capital." So they spunk all CSI's investment on a load of new players to help out perform their relegation rivals, yet are still not a sustainable business? I can't believe the other FL clubs will let them get away with it, cheating c*nts.
  9. **** yeah, 500 quid would do me.
  10. Millwall away is a tough game IMO, if we drew them at home I would be happy but I can see us going out in that one.
  11. Except with our away form it will probably be an easy win for Millwall.
  12. THis is how the BBC called it... Manchester City red card: It goes from bad to much, much worse for City. Vincent Kompany slides on Nani. It is two-footed, he is slightly off the ground, but a red card? I don't think so. It's a wet surface and it wasn't really dangerous. A tad over-zealous yes but a very harsh decision. Nani hurdles countless tackes every game.
  13. There was no contact with Nani and the ref got it wrong if he thought there was excessive malice.
  14. That's ******, it was never a red. He got the ball cleanly with his right foot and his left was on the floor when he made contact.
  15. A complete tosser, he can f*ck right off.
  16. Most of my mates who go just go to footie for a laugh and a few beers, the internet is mainly used for music, facebook and pornography.
  17. My parents and their neighbours (all ST holders) hardly ever use the internet. Many of the older generation get all their Saints info from the Echo.
  18. It's in no way representative, some on here don't even go to games, some live abroad and it's a magnet for weirdos. Most Saints fans I know have never even heard of this site, I can only think of 1 who even looks on here occasionally.
  19. **** Billy Sharp, we're signing a national hero. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoiOwuKEbWw&feature=related
  20. I think they wont flog us until we are in the Prem and I wont care by then anyway.
  21. I can see us playing for a draw and accidently winning.
  22. Locking people in small rooms is wrong but it's OK when the government do it. It's the same principle.
  23. I'm going to watch the Sailing courtesy of my other half's work place. I think the whole Olympics thing will be a massive anti-climax though. There is going to be alot of bored people sat around in stadiums wondering why they forked out hundreds of pounds to watch some sport they wouldn't usually cross a road to watch for free.
  24. Where is the doubt in the Norway massacre case then? There have been plenty of cases where it is not just "beyond reasonable doubt", if it's caught on CCTV or there are multiple witnesses or overwhelming evidence. For the really sick crimes I would sentence them to life with an option of death. Whilst they are serving their sentence a committee of judges will revue the evidence and if there is no doubt they get executed at a random date with no warning.
  25. You are missing the point, that case was miles away from there being no doubt at all.
