I would be amazed if anyone bought them, apart from being sh!t they are a hornets nest of debt and shady deals. You have the CVA which needs servicing, the Thai money lender with a charge on the stadium, land owned by gun-runner and now it looks like a loan to Antonov that needs repaying. On top of that there is the over paid players, possible future points deductions and zero infistructure. In the current climate I don't see a way out for them.

And a new bulb for the lavatory.

It is a f*cking shambles though. I don't give a monkeys if I get a ticket or not because I live 5mins from a pick up point and am happy to watch it on TV. The club are inconveniencing people with the bubble thing, the least they could do is give them time to make plans, many people are having to travel far just to get to the bubble.

I doubt protecting the bankers bonuses in London is high on Europe's priorities though. It will be interesting to see the outcome.

There are other derby games with the same atmosphere and Fratton Park is not exactly the most intimidating place, it's tiny.

Shirt Or No Shirt For Pompey Away-Yes Or No!?!
aintforever replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
I don't even own a home shirt but as the police are guaranteeing our safety with the bubble I'm tempted to buy one for the occasion. -
My Grandad always said to watch out for the Germans, they will end up ruling europe one way or another.

Saints "do not have a massive pot of cash"
aintforever replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
I would be very surprised if the Echo knew anything about SFC's finances. -
PMSL, you're sounding like a non-league club already! 1 game at Stamford Bridge is not a money spinning cup run.

Should we be worried about next two local away derbies
aintforever replied to corsacar saint's topic in The Saints
Can't see us winning either, our poor away form is there for us all to see. -
**** me, I thought I was emotionally stunted! Firstly, depression is an illness, just like any other. To say someone is selfish for taking their own life is just retarded. Secondly, what job someone does doesn't make their death any more or less sad. The sad thing about any death is the loss people feel when they are no longer here. With Gary Speed millions of people grew up enjoying watching him play football, it's right alot off people are effected by his death. Personally I find his case alot more tragic than many others. Suicide is a problem particularly for men. It's the second biggest killer of young men in this country just behind traffic accidents. Gary Speed is someone many men admire, he had it all, millions in the bank, nice wife, kids, great job. The fact that even he is not immune to this silent killer makes it particularly sad IMO.

I would play: ------------------DAVIS---------------- FRAZER-----FONTE-----JOS---------FOX GULY-----HAMMOND-----CORK----LALLANA ----------LAMBERT-----BARNARD----------- I just hope Lambert is fit, if he's not were f*cked.

Today shows why we should have signed James Beattie
aintforever replied to Paul Chuckle's topic in The Saints
I agree with the opening post, we should have backup for Lambert if not Beattie, we should have signed someone else who can do the same job. We have been very lucky so far that Lambert has not missed more games. -
Doncaster 1 - 0 Saints - Post Match Reaction
aintforever replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
We struggled when Lambert went off against Hull and were sh!t today. We better hope he gets fit or our failure to strengthen up front might bite us on the ass.. -
You lot ass-kissing Henry was one of the saddest things I've ever seen. Clapping away like a bunch of mongs while your team was getting ripped a new ass-hole. The fans of any decent club would have been gutted. I suppose it's a bit of a novelty for a club like Portsmouth to be playing Arsenal, fans of clubs like Saints have grown up watching top players week in week out.

A desperate last throw of the dice that will never work.

Could the fact that it's CSI and not pompey in administration actually cause more problems for the skates? The way I see it the administrator's job is to keep CSI a going concern, not PFC. If PFC is a drain on SCI's finances (particularly with the upcoming CVA) then surely the best course of action would be to sell what players they can in Jan then liquidate the club? Or is that just wishful thinking?
-
I found it funny, mainly because it was obvious loads of saddos would complain.
-
The way the Skates are banging on about the FAPP test makes me want to puke. I didn't hear any of them moan about it when they were buying the FA Cup with a criminal's blood money. In fact, if the FL had blocked the Russians takeover they probably would have gone under and the same scum would be up in arms. They are a bunch of hypocrites who would gladly give 100% support to a gun runner, mafia boss or tax dodger as long as they have their sh!tty little club bank-rolled into a position where they can mock others who support respectable clubs and live within their means. F*ck em all, liquidation is the only deserved outcome for that sh!t-hole, and especially for the fans.
-
Liquidation. The rivalry will still exist because there will always be some reincarnation. Chances are if we get promoted there won't be any derbies for decades anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were interested, anyone with half a brain can see that Adkins is a quality manager. I doubt they could tempt him to jump ship though, Adkins seems quite a loyal bloke and they are not much bigger than us.
