The fact that we are secure financially means will be able to be MUCH bolder in the transfer market than when we were previously in the Prem even if the owners don't want to invest huge amounts. There is no doubt despite a few small mistakes Cortese is doing a great job but only plebs sing the name of a chairman. If we go up it is Adkins and the players that are the heros, Cortese deserves credit for choosing him but Adkins is the talent behind the team doing so well. Cortese is just a businessman trying to make money.

It's not nonsense, football is not cheap and nowadays it's a luxury many people cannot afford on a regular basis. Of course the glory hunters will be swarming back when we go up but that doesn't mean many fans who would usually go are not. I think you will find attendances in the slums up north have been hit harder than down here.
