Admin - Watch Rupert find Investors then...
aintforever replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
You're in dreamland if you think we could avoid admin in Legaue 1. The mortgage is crippling us in this league FFS, there is now way we would survive on 9k attendances and **** all TV or sponsorship/commercial money. There is a BIG difference between the Championship and League 1. -
It's ****ing stupid if they are freezing Rudi out just because he has an opinion IMO. No doubt it is Adolf Lowe's descision.

Admin - Watch Rupert find Investors then...

As for Lowe taking control of the club post admin, I think a good campaign against him by the fans should sway the administrator in favour of any rival bids (assuming there is one). In League 1 the supporters money will be way more important than it is now. -

Everyone is too blame in some extent for this mess, it's only David Jones that has been scrotum deep in the whole farce all the way though. -
What's the £6million Market Cap?
-
We would start of -10 for going into admin so relegation again would be a very real possibility. I think a team of kids would struggle big time in League 1 anyway, it's a lot more physical than the Championship.

Rudi: Too many youngsters playing and I want away
aintforever replied to Big Ron fan's topic in The Saints
I think the issue is that Lowe has forced our manager to use our best midfielder (Surman) and a kid who's not ready, at left back while Skacel's been sat there doing naff all. It may have excaped your notice but while this has been happening the team has been playing ****e and look like getting relegated. Lowe hasn't saved the club a penny, he has made the managers job harder, reduced the quality of the team and demotivated a player who could potentially be very usefull, and possibly with the right man management could have hit his Hearts form and been sold this Jan for a half decent amount. -

Because sticking Skacel in the reserves has really worked a treat hasn't it? I have no problem with them trying to sell Skacel, but as he decided to stay we should have tried to get the best out of him, not try and let him rot. Maybe if we had a decent manager and with a bit of encouragement we would have got the best out of him and someone would offer some cash for him now. You must be completely thick if you think Lowe has handled this well. -

Surely the more information the shareholders/banks have, the better descision they can make about who is best at running the club? -
Rudi: Too many youngsters playing and I want away

Yes but if my boss told me I was not wanted and he would try and force me out even though he was tied into paying me a highly paid contract - I wouldn't give a toss about slagging him off. Rudi's done the right thing in letting us know how Lowe's been acting, the more that's out in the open the better. -

I want them to tell the truth, if the club is the shambles we all think it is then the more people that speak out the better. -

Just show's what a complete ****ing shambles SFC is at the moment. "Last summer they told me that if I didn't leave I wouldn't be playing. And then at one point they moved me from the reserves to the first team." So basically, just as many of us thought, Lowe froze Skacel out of the team to try and force him to leave. Jan was forced to play Surman and that 12 year old Mills at left back when we had Skacel sat there doing naff all. Another great piece of interference from Lowe - making the manager's job even harder. Jan doesn't stand chance with ****** like this stopping him doing his job properly. -
I doubt the bank is making the decisions, it will be down to Lowe. For example it is unlikely the manager of Barclays Reading branch insisted we sign Smith and that new left back. Or insisted we bring in numerous useless players on loan, injury prone midfielders and a 3rd choice goalie from Spurs that we will never play.

Usually if those descisions go against us I am seething, the first goal was offside, the penalty was very harsh and it was never a sending off. However ManUre's reserves beat us without breaking sweat, the descisions were irellivant, we would have lost regardless, probably by the same score. If we had managed to fluke a goal early on United would have just stepped up a gear and probably would have beat us by a greater margin than 3-0.

Jan might be a fine coach, the problem is that the teams we are up again have a manager and a coach.

Surely we're not that far from having a decent team
aintforever replied to ExSt Peter Saint's topic in The Saints
Pearson spent his career in all 3 top divisions with Shwesbury, Sheff Weds and Middlesboro. He won the League cup and Promotion to Division 1 with Wednesday as captain, also reached both cup finals in 1993. He also captained Middlesboro to promotion twice and captained them to 3 domestic cup finals. -
Complete waste as a left back at a time when we can't buy a goal. He scored for fun in the Scottish Prem, always had alot of assists for us when in midfield. Any decent manager would have brought in a left back on loan or from the lower leagues for peanuts freeing up Surman and Skacel for the midfield but our donkey has wasted both of those as left backs this season.

aintforever replied to ExSt Peter Saint's topic in The Saints
Totally agree, we do have the basis for a half decent side. We need to get in a manager who know's the Championship, know's how to battle and can motivate these players plus get a couple of experienced players on loan. Dowie fit's the bill perfectly IMO, if Lowe and Wilde had any brains they would finance the new manager out of their own pocket - the alternative is they will lose everything. -
Oh lord help us.

Calvin Davies: Strong rumour of loan deal to Plymouth
aintforever replied to qwertySFC's topic in The Saints
If Kelvin is sent on loan to Plymouth it means we are basically preparing ourselves for League 1. If it does happen I will start preparing for League 1 as well, by not bothering going to SMS until Lowe leaves. -
Changng manager will only work if Lowe either leaves or admits his Head Coach/Rupes DOF idea will never work. Having said that I think we stand little chance of staying up anyway, we have wasted what little resources we did have on crap signings and pointless loanies. Our one and only chance was to back Pearson to build a team, Lowe ****ed up that chance from day 1.

Was Rupert Lowe set up by the remaining Shareholders?

No, doesn't make any sense. -

What else could Crouch have done? He took over in January, loaned out some high earners to save money and kept us up - you cannot argue that he did not achieve what was needed. You could be sure if Lowe had took over that January there is no way he would have sanctioned the loan of Wright, he would have saved a few quid on wages, put Poke in goal and we would have got relegated.
