  1. He could have taken the bull by the horns and kept Pearson or hired a manager with experience of the Championship.
  2. He's done better so far that I expected, but I had very low expectations. This season could easily turn into a horror show, I can't help feeling the manager and youngsters are in a honeymoon period, running on adrenalin/enthusiasm alone. Most of our players have played out of their skin so far yet we could be bottom tonight - that's the worrying thing. I am very often wrong tho.
  3. The reason I was impressed by Pearson was that he took on a very hard job, we were in free fall and he was fire-fighting from day 1. For a rookie I thought it was a very good achievement to keep us up. He looked to me like he was improving and making better descisions with every match.
  4. So what, maybe he could have got players like Euell playing better than players like Holmes?
  5. Yeah about 10% more
  6. I'd prefer it if he still posted to be honest. He was obviously being fed rubbish but at least with Fitzhugh you got honest posts, he said what he heard and gave an idea of the source. Everyone hears all sorts of rumours and this is the best place to say what you've heard, it's all the cloak and dagger pretending to be ITK crap which ruins it. When there is no hidden agenda or attention seeking you don't mind if it doesn't turnout to be true.
  7. I think we were totally right to have cashed in when we did, Walcott could break his leg tomorrow and we are in no position to hang around hoping for money - Lowe proved that by doing exactly the same with Bale. As for the deal we got for Theo, it was good and the club should take credit, but I think most credit has to go to Walcott himself, he could have walked later on for a tribunal and there is nothing Lowe could have done about it. Lukily for us Theo was brought up well not dragged up like Kuntwyne Jones.
  8. The "ticket office opening hours" thread hit an all time low.
  9. I reckon skings80 is pumping and dumping.
  10. I remember doing a pointless stats project at college finding a correlation between attendance and performance and came to the conclusion that it was more about the feelgood factor than just results. For example if a team had just got promoted and were in mid table attandances would be higher than if they just got relegated and were in mid table because fans "felt" better. In our case the feel good factor is almost zero because as well as poor results, popular players have been flogged, a popular manager sacked and an unpopular person is running the club. The only thing that will turn it around is winning, particularly at home, keep losing and attendances will drop even more.
  11. And you are obviously 12 years old.
  12. Lowe did use cost as one of the reasons for sacking Pearson, if you think he mentioned their salary for any other reason you must be extremely nieve. I don't remember him mentioning other staff's salaries before.
  13. Terrible figures, not too surprised though with Lowe coming back and flogging the whole first team. You can't expect people to fork out £30 to watch a team they could have seen play for nothing at Staplewood last year. If we play well attendances should go up a decent amout - that's the only good thing.
  14. I wont be buying a gnome.
  15. The thing is this Fulthorpe thing appear to be people trying to arrange something not the people with the cash, just middlemen and as such it will always be "still live" and they will always be positive - even if they are a million miles away from anything.
  16. England's team is full of Skates, couldn't care less how they do.

  18. I didn't threaten you sweetheart, just told you to shut up because you were talking out your ass.

  20. Surely we could do with £2mill more now than when Wilde was in the press promising it? Anyway, whatever he says now I think we can all draw our own conclusions as to why he came out and said it. He said all sorts of crap to get Lowe out.
